The karui, while they feared and respected magic, did understand its value, and the tribal shaman was a big part of their culture. You hear often about Lavianga, Kaoms advisor, who seemed to be second only to Kaom in the hierarchy of Ngamakanui. So it wouldnt be a stretch to say that it would work well to fit as a shaman archetype.

And as for his ancestors ways, im pretty sure beating up Kaom and sending him back to the ancestors' halls would more than guarantee a spot with them in the afterlife once the marauder actually passes on, never mind defeating malachai into the bargain.

Poe it's a great delusion for defenses. Apart from massive ES regen builds, that give some sort of survivability in mid maps, there is NOT a single decent form of defence

-armor sucks
-enduranche charges doesn't suffice
-constant nerf to + max resist (now even the elemental flasks will be nerfed!!!)

If you want the REAL defense, Torchlight 2 is the way: Skull of Limoany farming, and voilà, semi immortal
I just can't believe there is no ascendancy class for Marauder that boosts 2 handed weapon play style.
The sad thing is that this is the strongest among the marauder classes, and still not at the level of the other ascendancy, rip level 94 marauder, i really hope they change something before release or i really doubt Juggernaut and berserker will be played

More weirdly than that, it has changed to "40% more Beserker damage".

Not only is the class named Berserker, not Beserker, "Beserker damage" sounds like a type of damage rather than applying to all damage, which would be "40% more damage".

EDIT: Okay, clarified on Reddit (the real place to look for GGG information, not their own site.. sigh) that that this is a mistake and it should be saying "40% more damage". So nothing strange here apart from an elaborate typo.

Revealing the 18 classes available to the 6 other playable characters before revealing the Scion's single class is pure unadulterated evil.

I have mixed feelings about this. I enjoy the naming and somewhat the overall concept, but I think, it fits better to a templar. I understand the pain of all the babarian ...ahm, I mean marauder players .. who wanted a more 2h melee oriented class.

... solving the problems of balancing melee by turning melee class into a caster class, leaves a bitter taste in my mouth too..
