perhaps you should consider Elementalist? though Elementalist might not be the best choice, i can't see any of the witch's ascendency fully support the golems, but Elementalist can grant them 100% elemental resistence! + it'll boost their effect on you if you use some sort of spell - espaciely fire spells.


You are commenting very old post. He is using Necromancer with Mistress of Sacrifice, Spirit Eater, and I think we agreed that going for small minion dmg nodes is best for last 2 points. Elementalist doesn't offer much for the build, because urvivability of the golems really isn't an issue, especially since the build use spell echo, so you can summon 2 golems every 6 sec.



I've been playing around with mana reservation, and I realized that if I get 18% reduced reservation it the tree, I could use 4 Blasphemed curses in Heretic's Veil, without Enlighten, for exactly 100% mana reserved. I lose enhance for Temp Chains and Elemental Weakness, but I think it is fair price to pay for convenience and amount of sockets I save. With this goal in mind I came up with this tree (to use without Geofri's Sanctuary). I might need to drop 1 hp node for a dex node, we'll see after I'll complete my gear (I need the helmet, but I'm still doing challenges in Perandus league, so it might be a while).

Another idea is to use Leap Slam with Faster Attacks, Fortify and Animate Guardian in a 4l. I'll have to see if it is fast enough to easily move around. I will be working on exact setup for supporting skills tho.


Would using the same tree with Geofri's Sanctuary and removing ZO for dex node or w/e is needed be viable?

Currently leveling and I like the idea of having a mobility skill and not having to buy an enlighten but already have Geofri's Sanctuary so might as well use it

After I replied to your message, I went and looked at the dying breath unique. I did not realize that it also added increased curse effect, which was my biggest worry about dropping the enhance gem. Now I actually really like your suggestion about running 4 curse auras in the helm. I could run 1 curse with ball lightning CoH and gmp, which is perfect while running 5 curses.

That would also free up 2 gem slots, one of course for the animated guardian.

I got my helmet for 4 ex 30c, and I can confirm that Aura Calc is correct. I'm figuring out gear I need to cap my resistances and meet gem requirements (155 dex Projectile Weakness, I'm looking at you). Using so many uniques is tough. I actually have str. problem for Clayshapers with my tree. The one I posted in my previous post might change a bit, but there are no major mistakes I can see so far. And @B00mshakalaka - yes, I see no reason not to use Geofri's with similar tree, if you have one. It actually has better resistances than my rare chest (I bought it for classic summoner using purity of elements, and really all I cared about was life and ES)

for some extra ES regen. Abyssal Cry is cool, but I don't think it does too much without at least 4l and scaling AoE and chaos dmg in the tree, and destroying corpses isn't always a good thing. But DreamScythe has more experience, I have to watch carefully his last YT video and do some of my own testing, so maybe I'll change my mind.

I've been tinkering with the skill tree planner a bit. Tree v2. This version have more much needed dex, but main difference is going for both hp/es clusters and getting Hex Master instead of leadership. We lose 10% AoE for Blasphemy, but gain 10% curse effect. Mana reservation is made up with first node of Influence cluster. Without good jewels filling out hp nodes might be better than going for some of the less efficient jewels slots.

Any feedback on this tree? Someone with fresh look.

I didn't mention that before, but if any1 planning on using Animate Guardian - don't take Minion Instability. It is not reliable damage, and we are effectively reducing our minions' life by 35%. Probably not worth a point even without AG in mind.

I will be changing last jewel, and maybe a belt (belt was cheap fast purchase for 50c). Everything else is pretty much final I think.
Defences without and with Rumi's/ToH. Regen is shown with consecrated ground and enduring cry buffs, base is 207 es/sec.

Currently rolling with this build in cruel, the flame golems are melting everything. It is nice to have amazing aoe without having to deal with spectres. The single target is nice too, Izaro didn't stand a chance.

I just need to work on gearing, I got a nice chain belt with high life and resists, I need to socket and link Geofri's and buy heretic's veil.

20q golems were cheap on poe trade so I snagged a few. I even saw someone selling a 20/20 non corrupt one for 20c but was afk :/

Did you look for 21/0 also? I've seen one for 20c and one for 25 (Pernadus SC). It is fair price imo and better than 20/20, especially at high lvl (good jewels).

as long as this build stays kinda underground, Fire golems 20/20 and lvl 21 should remain fairly cheap =D
