Upgrade your glove to facebreaker, it provide more damage than maligaro glove, do that if your resist are over cap.

For blast rain, try elemental focus instead of poison. Around 20-30% more dps (you do lose the chance to ignite enemy, its no good when its dead anyway : ). Also your LA gem setup, try add added lightning damage instead of item rarity. For vaal gem, i'll say vaal all of them if you got a chance, but i would build up another in the second slot in case one got rip from vaal.

I dont think replacing Poison is a good idea. I tried critical strikes and elemental focus on Uber runs and high tier maps, it didnt even come close to Poison in terms of damage.

I see you tried replacing poison with crit strikes, why not try replacing added lightning instead?

@Damier this the dps difference with poison and elemental focus gem on BR setup.

Hey everyones!

I'm pretty new to this build (and bow build in general) and have just hit lvl 81. Still clearing t12 maps is pretty much a piece of cake!
Great build, but I feel I still miss alot in terms of both defenses and damage (19k LA, 28k BR with 3,3k hp and about 4k EV - sure, lvl 81 is still pretty low but idk...)

Here's my current equipment. If one of the kinds Sirs, who really seem to have a frim grasp of this build and its mechanics could give me some hints as where I should start upgrading (and how) that would be greatly appreciated!
Also: what flasks are best to use? Do Rotgut and Lion's Roar work well?

(I'm obviously on a pretty tight budget)

Yes, still Poison is better. I'm on 65k WITH Poison and i tested it along with other stuff as replacement. (What Vasek said below)

Your gear still needs a lot of tweaking here and there.

i think poison just melts bosses when you hit them with it, its not about paper dps

Hallo Vasek! :-) Sure, was cool!

Basically you can also go back to previous posts since it will be more or less the same answer.

But fine, i ll break it down again. I dont know your budget though so i can only give general advice.

Weapon: 6L obviously. I see you dont use chain while not having the Helm enchant, if it doesnt feel clunky to you, proceed to do so :-) However 6L will help a lot in clearing and the helm enchant will do even more so.

Helmet: Enchant (2 additional enemies LA)

Boots: Evasion, if possible T1 Life (80+), 30%, The resists on yours are really solid already, mentioned above is only what you should aim for in the future.

Chest: Same Life(or more ofc.), more evasion, preferably Assassins Garb base, more overall resists (around 100+); However, yours is 6L so i guess you wont be able to upgrade that soonish.

Belt: Very solid resists and Life, however, you want T1/T2 WED on it, so 31+(T2) would be great (you can still divine it to 36%); Life should stay the same. Note, that with strength also counts towards life, so search for overall life, not life as explicit.

Quiver: Higher Flat Lightning Damage, 30%+WED, 30%+ Critchance, more Life, Multi can be already rolled or should be craftable at least (27%). Your quiver is solid due to the accuracy, but the life really blows.

Gloves: Your gloves are fine. You can add a search while playing for Facebreakers with 3B1G or 4B with +1 Gems, but thats one of the last upgrade you should concider except if you can snipe them for 1-2exalts, havent checked the prices on those lately.

Amulet: Solid Flat, very good multiplier, Very good life, You re missing WED and Critchance on it, whilest the chaosdamage balances that a bit. Well, it's up to you i guess. Amulet is solid, you won't be able to get a really good one balancing your stats that easy.

Rings: Good WED, no Flat lightning damage on both, but instead high Life. If you dont happen to have several exalts that wont be easy. I dont know if you re dependant on the Int roll on Gale band. For the future try to get rings with these 4 priorities: WED, Flat lightning, Life and the resists you need to cap out.

In general:

Do NOT try to cap ele weakness, use a Bismuth flask instead for those maps
While searching for upgrades, keep in mind that an open suffix or prefix can save you a lot of currency if you happen to run across an item with such (especially amulet/rings, but basically all of them)
Do not undersestimate Jewels!!!
Nobody here's asking for them but man they can be a beast in terms of DPS gain.
Try to look for the following:



Maybe not these exact stats, start with 2 or 3 of them (it will be expensive already)


Concerning Uber:

Your Lifepool is okay, i did it with around the same on Talisman. However my DPS was slightly higher back then if i recall correctly. I did Uber on Perandus with around the same stats at the start of the league with 2 5Links. It worked, but i already had some expiernece with her.

You could do it, but it won't be easy. Dont be afraid to try though.

Oh and you will need some specific flasks:

These are basically for vaal only, at least the Saphire and topaz ones.
