Out of curiosty Damier, have you tried the additional accuracy gem instead of the crit gem? Accuracy in this build is pretty bad.

For a DEADEYE class, what is the best 5Link setup on blast rain?

I am not sure if WeD is better than Added lightning or not. Seems poison + conc + void manipulation is a MUST and then some say WeD and some say Added lightning.

Daimer already gave you good advice on what to focus on.

As far as what you said above, that's the gist of it. The key is to be flexible. If you search for just 1 res, you might find one with two. If you have craftable resistance slots on a one-res item, you can swap between the other two depending on what other gear you find.


I just picked up this quiver yesterday, which really freed up my Lightning resistance requirements.

Meaning I was able to swap Lightning for Cold on my chest. I was attempting to use Maligaro's by capping my resists and improving life without them in the glove spot.

That quiver is a good example of making a sacrifice on normal requirements. I was willing to give up the implicit crit chance of a Spike-Point for the huge elemental roll, Light resist, and higher life than my old quiver. If you're willing to be creative in your searches, you can find decent upgrades on a tighter budget.

WED is multiplicative and applies to all lightning damage added to your weapon. Added Lighting just stacks with everything else (Wrath, HoT, SE jewel, items, etc).

WED is likely more powerful, but if you have the item colored for ALD instead, the difference is probably not a deal-breaker.

Currently level 84 as Scion
Here are my gears

Do you think with these gears, uber is possible? I will definitely be pushing up to lvl 90 minimum.
Also, what is the best glove/boots enchantment??

Can't decide which class to use for this build.
The OP says Scion would be best but I'd have to level a Scion.
Damier seems to be having success with the Deadeye Ranger but I'd have to either level a new ranger or respec a lot of points on my Ranger.

I still have a respec available with my Shadow, more crit looks nice.

Anyone is playing this build with a Shadow?

How big a difference would it make if I use Shadow instead of Ranger or Scion?
