If you had Problems doing a Gorge you did something seriously wrong... you can still do that content with allmost no investment at all...

Using Hatred could be a good start. Hatred alone is a big Damage multiplier and Herald of Ice would provide lots better clear speed.

Maybe also try switching the useless Glacial Cascade for a ICS Gem so you actually get some good Crit Chance on Cyclone and your Spells to use your Crit Multi

Then your Skilltree is missing all the jewel sockets, which are a big source for Crit Multi and Spell/Phys damage.

Selfcast Bladefall is a strong option indeed but is a whole different playstyle and build so i highly doubt that it works "better" without serious changes to the build.

Happy to hear that you managed to beat all guardians! I only tried Minotaur and Phoenix so far.
I allready did suspect that Shaper would be some Problems because of the crazy ground degen Effects that canmake it hard to Cyclone on him in more and more spaces during the fight.

I don´t think that its viable to make this build Facetank the Shaper, will be a question of learning mechanics and dodging stuff, kiting the Vortexes around to good spots.

But the only build that can do a "no brain facetank" on the Shaper is Pathfinder and that needs good Flask timing like other builds need dodging.

Oh ye and BV + Pathfinder + Vinktars will get nerfed after this league.

@Dkodr I'm well aware fakener gear is not ideal, my fakenrr gear is pre-ascendency hence the elreon ring etc. That is why I did not try something hard like "shaper" instead just opened a random mid level map.

In any case my elreon ring is not bad at all, and using volls chest only hampers my defense, which was not the issue. could replace volls ammy with a crit/crit multi ammy but again this was only a 15 minute test.

I tried it with different setups, this includes ICS, blade vortex and glacial cascade.

You did not use Hatred and HoI and missed all jewel sockets.

Hatred + HoI is what gives you good clearspeed because of shattering Packs.

Don´t you think that its kinda rude testing something half-assed for 15 minutes and then go on to claim that a build is not working or bad when it clearly is capable of killing Guardians and Uber Atziri after the patch?

Maybe ask what you did wrong instead of claiming that its the builds fault.

I like to help everyone but not caring about the guide in keyparts and then claiming that it does not work is kinda rude.

I am 99% sure that her spear can´t one shot you. Its the mirror you are hitting.

How does the new CoC mechanics (cooldown) interact with BF and EK's cast time, and Cyclones attack time?
Is there a golden ratio where we can proc the spells in the most consistent way possible in order to make damage andleech more reliable?

Cast time does nothing if you CoC a Spell.

Can´t tell you anything about Math Details, i am not a MathGuy.

In the quest for more damage I am trying out bladefall instead of life leech in chest setup, getting leech from Doryani's Invitation, self casting Warlords Mark in boss fights and using Atziri's promise when engaging big packs/bosses. I also recrafted my dagger with 0,2% leech from cold damage, as it will add up a little to the leech we get from Herald of Ice and Hatred.
Just did a test agains the Minotaur, he wen down considerably faster and I didn't die.
The idea is to have so much deeps that fights will be over before flasks are empty, a surgeons basalt flask also helps alot in boss fights, gettin my evasion above 50% and having more or less 100% uptime.
The only downside is loosing es from the belt slot, got a little over 11k es now.
Attacking feels alot more punchy with 3 spells attached to CoC, I just plow through everything in no time. As the damage gets higher, the leech also gets higher. This is min maxing in stanard league btw.
Stats w current setup:

11,3k ES
Blade Vortex w 4 blades: 21k avg.dmg with 6 power and 4 frenzy charges)
EK: 61k
Bladefall: 45k

Stats with Voidbringer gloves +1 gems:
12,3kES
BV: 17k
BF:39k
EK: 50k

yo im tryna pump out more es bc i got stuck with a tabula

was hoping i could get some opinions on what my other bottlenecks are
im at barely over 3k es 1.7k life

personally id rather grind maps looking for better gear than trade for it so (i get enjoyment out of that portion of the game)

Would really use Voidbringers if you wantto stick to a Tabula for longer.

You also really should get a cheap Vagan Dagger, it like the base of this build.

The Helmet is also really not optimal because the ES isn´t all that high and your Bladevortex gets supported by a Conc Effect, making it a lot smaller.

The Belt lookslike you could get something with more Resists pretty easy to get more room for high ES /Low Resist stuff in other Slots.
