The Winter Mystery Box - Including New and Exclusive Microtransactions!

I hope it will be possible to delete all the duplicates in my stash...

I don´t want to have the points back, I wanted to spent them, it was my choice.

But to see all those multiple MTX hurts my eyes, it´s sad that there is no possibility to stack them. :-(

Not everyone have money to waste like that
ADVICE FOR THE STACKING PROBLEM

An annoying but working way to stack all this double effects is to use them on the Skill Gem/Equipment/Hideout and then reclaim it. When you do it this way, it automaticly stacks it if this is possible. For excample, if you got a few arctic armour effects (i got 5 of them) it may stack them in more than one stack but if you do it often enough it works and in the end you got all theses things stacked.

Maybe this is a known solution but i just figured it out yesterday and thought i'd share it anyway.

btw, would be really nice to do something with this double effects. they are really useless the way they are at the moment...

and i got no luck with the wolf... RNGjesus didnt like me very much...

1 in 267 doesn't seem too unreasonable for the main piece of an armour set...

In a few weeks the set will be in the store for 400-ish points. A few weeks after that, the set will be on sale for 200-ish points.

I'm glad you enjoyed paying 4,000 points for it.

I didn't.. I was playing with another person's nicely aligned numbers. I have the self-control not to gamble past a sensible "fun limit" and don't feel a compulsion to have things, first or otherwise.
This is what GGG is best at doing which is RNG. GGG is all things RNG gambling (crap shoot) only this is gambling with real money. But this isn't new either as we RNG gamble every time we buy a stash tab bundle. Will I get a read-only tab converted that has only a few items in it or one that is almost full that I was saving in long term storage. Before the "read-only is supposed to be short term only" crowd spams me I'll repost what Chris said:

Chris stated:

"We recently made a change where the contents of a remove-only tab are automatically moved into a new stash tab as one is purchased. This was primarily to fix a technical problem, but happens to also help users who purchase a lot of stash tabs when challenge leagues end and don't want to have to move the items across one at a time."

Christ stated in an email reply:
"Thanks for the mail!

The core problem here is how our stash code works. There's no way to choose which tab is upgraded, which causes a problem in some circumstances where users can receive an unlimited number of stash tabs (without having to do any races). The change to how the stash tab purchases work (where it increases your entitlement of real tabs, rather than forcibly generating a real one each time) was to fix that.
We're not really concerned with people using remove-only tabs as long-term storage like they have been doing.

I'm not completely happy with the solution and want to find a better one.

Kind regards,
Chris"

This information is from 2013 so over 2 years and RNG gambling when we buy more stash space is the norm so RNG gambling is what GGG does best. Just say no and don't buy if you don't like this. Not the best way to handle RNG frustration but it works for me (sorry GGG but you know and choose to ignore).

Happy holidays.
"You've got to grind, grind, grind at that grindstone..."
Necessity may be the mother of invention, but poor QoP in PoE is the father of frustration.

10 boxes,2 wolves,3 arctic footprints,2 pcs of armor,snow hideout effect,2 lame weapon effects..meh...Wolves are nice tho!
Some mornings it's not worth chewing the straps off...
Lol @ people who played the rng cash game and complain about it,proposing solutions and different mechanics.
I bet you trust your politicians too.
Go go GGG,rip those kids of their cash, they still don't get it!
13 Boxes 7 Times Northern Light Effect. Is it possible to have more bad luck? (Maybe 13 times this useless effect...)
ooops...and it's a ranger again
I don't mind spending the points on the boxes, and enjoy the RNG stuff usually. I would like for the consumable effects (fireworks, aurora, etc) to stack, though. :D

I don't care about the armor effects, usually, but love the hideout effects/decoratios/etc :)
This event is very interesting, mainly because this is gambling and it is a gamble where the odds are unknown and many of the participants are children or young adults. While this may not actually step over the line to illegal, it is definitely immoral.

GGG, Allowing people to believe that these "exclusive" prizes are reasonably obtainable, asking them to enter into an unknown gamble, and then stacking the odds against them, is not a morally justifiable action. Please help your "supporters" be responsible and provide information and odds when asking them to gamble "points" purchased with real money.

If you plan on buying these winter boxes, please be responsible and set a budget.
