Then a carbon tax (I read Obama proposed something similar for the lulz recently). I guess US government has gone to shit enough that it can't manage a cap and trade scheme like in the past when the acid rain thing was solved. I don't know, it is a weird to mock one specific solution, it rubed me the wrong way. It can still work in another countries (specially in some parts of Europe, or Japan).

The level of fraud is not a function only of money incentives. There are other incentives at play that could be used (for example, independent controlling bodies, active citizenship, etc.) that have been weakened enough. Weak institutions (like in my country) are a bigger problem than money always. Is it bad to asume a society has a working democracy, at least for first world countries? A country doesn't become a (stable) first world country in spite of corruption, it becomes one because it manages to mitigate enough to let everything prosper.

The best horror scenario would be nobody gets the majority of votes. Trump goes as 3rd candidate, Sanders/Clinton become a 4th candidate, and some rich guys like Bloomberg/Romney run again because they believe they get over 20%

The whole video is interesting(Trump/media + Germany/refugees/media etc.), but the fun (well, more sarcasm) part are the last 2 minutes.

When it comes to the first part, the U.S. really seem to have a problem with independent and critical journalism.
