So it is clearly anti-melee. |

"I dont know if OP is high or what, melee is fucking great right now thanks to fortify. The curse aura gem is going to make melee a walk in the park, people are going to just run Hatred/Determination/Grace with dual curse Enfeeble and Temporal Chains, rolling over curse immune maps. Harvest sucks! But look at my decked out gear two weeks in!

What is the point of an anti melee league when this game itself is already anti melee?

" It have been always like this. We hope for the best but in fact if you want to change something you have to do it now. Melee had its time with cyclone on hc and reave on softcore but the closer you get to endgame parties the weaker melee looks. I mean, anything works with multicurse aurabot but why would i play as a support with a punchbag instead of a lets say vaal sparker? |

New monsters also would have DOT damage and a lot Chaos damage, means melee gonna be screw up higher, more damage for monsters = less defense for melee that can't kite and dodge and refile flask every seconds (nonstop use of flask like crit bow do), etc. |

I think the best way to make melee viable is to give us some nodes for:
+ increased weapon range (another +2 node for Marauder maybe) + life gain on hit (leech simply is not cutting it, even if you spec lots of points into it) + a way to mitigate corpse explosion Corpse explosion is the reason I would not even consider melee for hardcore. How are you going to avoid it if you have to be on top of an enemy to kill it? (Reave or Spectral Throw are not melee, they are casters using their weapon for stats.)
