One-month Flashback Events: Progress and Feedback
" Other words map drop still sucks... |

Already shared my thoughts on the "new" mapping experience, but losing my specters just now with the league mod change reminded me of another issue you could easily address, at least in the future. The changing of mods is NOT handled well at all, and my biggest gripe with it is that your area instances suddenly, without warning, become inaccessible once the mods change... and not just inaccessible, but you are immediately disconnected when trying to go back in due to a seemingly unnecessary error, causing loss of area progress and inconvenience in having to regain specters, auras, etc. Since we were able to keep old instances up to save Tempest and Warbands area mods from previous cycles, I don't see where there could be a lack of technology causing this issue, but if you really can't do something similar to save old instances in a Flashback league, please, at the very least, make server-wide announcements warning old instances will soon be lost/are now inaccessible. And after the switch happens, just close those old instances or give some sort of error that prevents the player from entering them WITHOUT logging them out... my experience of mod changes so far has been piss-poor and has unnecessarily taken away some of the fun every few days.
Drawn by a haunting voice, you come to the PoE forums. It is an odd place, filled with a motley assortment of feedback... and shameless trolling. There, the whining posts are all around you, and the gamers are silent, as the grind takes ahold of them. One by one, their lives seem lost to its call.

Was just reading the thread about how people complained about Beyond being active to much.
Went back into the game, and boom, beyond is back. Thats it for tonight :) No poe for me today. Have to join the other replies about beyond, its to much... |

from this i learned beyond is by far the most difficult mod of any previous league

Beyond is fun but it makes people's pc lag massively.
Almost everyone I party with agree. And I mean 4gb ram, 560ti, i5 cpu, decent hardware that should run the game somewhat fine. Oh and pretty much all my settings are low and shadows are off. IGNs:

I got the helmet after a week and decided I need a PoE break and be refreshed for the next 1 month, which I'm pretty excited for since you said it's going to be different from anything you've done, can't wait!

Both winners uses Scion PA. Does anyone know which build these two players (crab_dad and Steelmage) based their build from?
I am planning to run this next month. Thanks, |

" Beyond is probably the league where I died the most... and has been my favorite league. :) Beyond can be awesome for some builds and can be a bitch for others. With Nemesis it makes it way worse though lol edit: I hate Tempest the most personally. Sure there are fun tempests, but other than that, dodging freezing circles and shit on the ground sucks. Killing SRS and skellies constantly sucks too, especially since they give no exp/loot. Last edited by Jaille#5798 on Oct 16, 2015, 6:14:38 PM

" What other 'now vs historical' stats can you give? I'd like to know where players in a level range are spending their time and see if it matches my own. I'm sticking to quite low content when Beyond is on, when it was off I went into higher maps. On a player level vs area level graph with dots showing where people usually die I imagine a line showing most player level deaths are near the area level. Over the weekend I imagine that line dropping 10-15 levels. Could current Standard activity or previous challenge league activity for the above sorts of things be compared to the current challenge league? |
