One-month Flashback Events: Progress and Feedback
This league has been great. Kinda bored of it now though, i just wanted three pieces :)
Can't wait for the next challenge leagues now! |

Tier system is stupid. I had to be about 10 levels above a zone to handle Beyond boss pops so Tiers did nothing for me to help in that regard. I continued to reference the monster level to understand where I should or shouldn't be.
Overall map drops appear to have improved - at least the bunch I ran in standard. This 1 months was a lot of fun but my RT cyclone toe to tow just can't compete with the dominant ranged aoe builds that were used to propel players to 90+ in a short amount of time. RT needs a deeps boost on it or behind it just like BM was improved. 30% - 50% for sure. The 1 month overall has been great. I typically play in standard but the shiny gold set won me over. ✰CARD✰ The Survivalist I can’t buy any more big supporter packs because the forum only supports showing 7 legacy tags. " Regarding the wall of afk i've hit with poe.trade i think it's near 15 min and not 5. Something has to be done here idk add it in loadscreen hints but tell players to use the damn /afk command if they are not willing to trade anything or at least to write something. Ended to add to ignore list any player who don't do that. I wouldn't sell them anything if they need one day. Except that thanks for statistics it's always a pleasure. And congrats to SC / HC first 100. Hf :) Last edited by Heli0nix#0378 on Oct 16, 2015, 8:18:39 AM

Ok, feedback on maps and whether 2.0.4 has changed my map experience:
First, yes, it has changed my map experience. In the hope of getting something back, I have run a few 79 maps, all ambushed, and rolled all strogboxes for magic monsters. During the process, I noticed two things: 1) This is incredibly stupid, and 2) it is not sustainable as single player. On the positive side, I got some 79 maps back, and even found my first 80+ in any mao since about a week after patch 2.0. That makes 2 (!) lvl 80+ maps in what, three months? Four months? Well... I have lost a lot of currency, my pool of chaos orbs is shrinking pretty bad. I also realized that running map rotations is a bad idea. Somebody popped my strongbox before I could roll it, presumably to PK me. Also things were incredibly laggy in a 6-man party. Not doing that again for sure. On the other hand, I am now running hihger-mid maps (77s, 76s, 78s) rather than mid-mid maps (75s, 76s). It has been fun, cause I got to see some other tilesets. But yeah, stuck in those tilesets for the moment. However, the main problems of the mapping system were still not addressed: - too high variance over too long periods of time to be fair for casual players that do not run 500+ maps such that the variance evens out (in fact, it evens out after even longer periods of time) - too expensive for single players to keep mapping - RNG and currency gated content I am facerolling content, and cannot get to the interesting, difficult content. The only thing that is interesting right now is the Village Ruin boss (but I can run that map only like once a week, so far less on average) and maybe the Malformation boss. Please give me challenging content that I can run at least somewhat regularly! Other than that, the tiers are extremely confusing. So, suggestions: - Make Zana mods a per-portal-cost or make them not mandatory (they feel mandatory if you ever want to get to a 82 map at the moment), or find another way to make things more fair for players that cannot or do not want to play in map rotations - Make sure SAC fragments are not mandatory for mapping, it feels like they are mandatory at the moment - Maybe bump map drops a bit more such that people can actually get to challenging content (otherwise, make the lvl-77-content harder) - If variance is the goal for which maps players actually play, increase the spread of maps dropped (+2 for rare monsters, +3 for bosses) - Make a system similar to evasion rating change-to-get-hit (entropy based IIRC) for map drops, to lower the variance of how many maps get dropped - Maybe remove the -6 or -10 map drops, or lower their chances to occur. They are useless anyways. - Think about 2:1 up-trading for maps again Remove Horticrafting station storage limit.

It's a fun league but the beyond mod was seriously getting to be too much.
Map drop rates are right in line with where they should be, thanks! |

" I'm working on it too, but real life is getting in the way. Few hours after the league starts, my ISP goes down for 24 hours. Now this week has been a PITA. Everyone that has already hit 85 isn't really on any more. Then there has been all the server disconnections, lost maps, and roll backs of earned XP. And to top it off, my ISP has been down for the last 36 hours, not that hours at work or while sleeping matter. But, still 36 hours. I pray it's fixed by the time I get home from work. |

sustaining t12(79+) maps was hard on HC, every map i did was fully chiseled + fragments, rolled with chaos for 110q+ and sometimes with domination Zana mod.I hardly got any t13 drop, not to mention it was scary with all mods..

Thanks.

" Same feelings here. Physical damage is out of control. Never again will I go for a non-armor build. Went hybrid life/ES this challenge league. I have 3600+ life, 3500+ ES, run arctic armor on the off-chance I won't be moving when hit, keep 4 endurance charges up, and have 5 Zombies out for distraction. Works great until any physical damage beyond spawn, leap slammer, ranged physical damage dealer decides to target me. I'm either one-shot dead with no time to react or hit-stunned and unable to move/escape and killed in 2 or 3 hits. Really? Over 7000 hit points, X% "less" physical damage from Arctic Armor if wasn't moving, and 4 endurance charges up... and dead in a second or less if hit by physical damage. Improving my gear to get even more life and ES won't do anything either. Anything that one shots or stun kills me now will still be problematic and continue to kill me. |

Talking about maps I'm not sure everyone is Aware of nembibi.com (tempest/Warband tracking)
But... The first month of warbands/tempest compared to 1month had many more people in the higher tiers of mapping. So i'm pretty sure Maps dropping have either something wrong. Or No one has been playing 1 month league (which i find very hard to believe due to MTX reward/laptop) Anyone else notice nembibi from warbands / tempest to 1ml? seems like we get 1-3 tier 10+ but rest of it just sits.. I would ask for dev team to look into these mapping stats. Personally leveled 2 chars this league and the first one to get to 85 was done on lvl 70 maps.... If there is a Hell! I'll see you there!
