Developer Questions and Answers

Are you planning on making non-endgame gearing easier?
I always wanted to try and get some decent gear but rolling 5-links or good item-level specific rolls is a massive currency sink, do you have any intention of alleviating f.e. Item level 40-55 rolling so that those of us who want at least decent gear have a chance of crafting it ourselves with better results?
Coming from a player with about 5-12 hours of game time per week at this point, massive currency is something I can only dream of. :P
Why did you change Sea Witches walk animation? Did it improve the game in any way?
You've added meta crafting such as prefixes or suffixes can't be changed. What's your stance on state of meta info we get about items?
Do you feel it's OK if we get "prefixes can't be changed" mod without any viable way to determine if a mod is prefix/suffix?
Is it a design decision to hide item details?
Did introducing item level on alt made the game harder for new players? If not, do you plan on adding prefix/suffix breakdown on alt?

Is there a vendor recipe for exalted(except mirror) and/or mirror?
I have one question. I didn't check to see if it has been asked already but it's been a known issue for a long time:

Are there any plans to attempt to fix the optimization of projectiles/spell animations? In 6 person parties players are always running at substantially lower FPS causing the screen to freeze up regardless of their system specs and how low the resolution/graphics options are placed.

I hope this gets some attention. I'm not even targeting specifically COC or Discharge, it happens with spells in general.

Is there any plans to improve pvp experience?
Hi

1. Why has clarity become so useless now due to overner...balancing?

2. Who does the balance testing for this game? Will they ever learn to NOT over balance things so a player is forced to expend more points to make it feasible, thus forcing characters to commit to certain parts of the tree as opposed to a casual approach to the tree, ex: aforementioned clarity aura, useless unless player gets some mana regen(esepcially for shadows) another example, shield block chance.

3. Will all items eventually have ''for attacks/for spells'' ele and phys damage mods?, instead of curently having ele/phy mods that mention neither attack or spells specific but are only good for attacks...

4. Will this weird freezing issue be fixed as it was not prevalent during the awakening CB?

5.Will GGG ever have a polished league?

6. Can GGG fix all its clipping on characters with mtxs or even simply fix it so players shield does not go through their leg when standing still?

7. Can this game curb its inflation?

8. Can this game re-think some of its mods,ex: weapons can roll resists!!! No one I ask wants resists on weapons!

cheers

Any chance of adding more variety in supporter packs? I would like to get another one but cant justify the price of next step up and I really don't want to end up with same cosmetic effects etc. once more. It would be great if each level of supporter pack had a few different options.

And can I pretty please have a Identify gem! I am so annoyed with keeping my identify scrolls replenished. Rare drop similar to portal, maybe auto identify anything you pick up if you have the gem in a socket.

pure summoners might want a wand with res and cast speed if they are using a curse on hit setup.

lowbudget dualwield reave builds with a non-sword/dagger/claw can use a rare with res at the start.

Hi GGG,my name is Andrew and I am working as a senior gamedesigner for about 3 years in average russian gamedev company, that specializes mostly on mobile games. As a gamesesigner, I do a lot of different things,such as:
gameplay decisions;
ways of realisation the gameplay decisions (data structures, syntax, dev tools, etc);
ui prototypes;
balance;
level design control and decisions;
monetization features;
sounds and music control and references;
in-game graphics control and references;
and some other things like pre-release stuff, translation control, etc.

I'd like to know what are the GGG gamedesigners doing? Is there any gamedesigner speciality in the PoE development, like "this guy is technical gamedesigner, other is art gamedesigner, and these two guys are balance gamedesigners"? And the next question can be a bit rude, and you can leave it without answer, but what is the gamedesigner's salary at such big project as PoE?
I know that my english is not very good and my skills are not perfect, but if you have some test cases for new gamedesigners - I'd like to test my skills, not for a job, just for myself.
Thanks in advance. :)
