I still think map drops are fine - boost drops and good players can do 79++ all day long

" uhh " You don't have interest in these "silly" arguments where you get called out on your flagrant lies. You edited in the bold just now. IGN: WeenieHuttSenior

Yes i added that sentence like 24h ago for people who read to misunderstand - and can easily misunderstand something if you don't spell it out exactly as it is, bringing light to all the details that are embedded in a simplified sentence.
Now you make that same mistake, and you call it lying? No lie was made, no new meaning was added to what i said. These are silly arguments. Make another like it and you won't get a reply, these personal attacks not worth my time. I know your type though, the next that follows is another personal attack inside some long wall of something, but at the end of the day you still can't accept that i did not lie or invent anything in op just to troll people like yourself, so do yourself a favor and don't post the wall. Just bite me off with a small remark, or don't reply at all. I am the light of the morning and the shadow on the wall, I am nothing and I am all. " Not personal attacks, just putting your claims under scrutiny, and they really don't hold up. The forums are completely full of claims citing the exact opposite situation of the one you're claiming, but somehow, despite me and countless others rolling maps just as diligently as yourself, you can magically do more than sustain - you can actually climb the map tiers without a hitch. Something smells fishy to me. IGN: WeenieHuttSenior

I can tell you if you must know that i was above average luck in these maps.
When doing this(link) i was a bit below average luck. As you may have noticed if you read this thread, i suspect only to be able to maintain 76/77/78 maps most of the time, and sometimes get into 75's and 79+. If you compare that with OP, you will see i don't consider OP to be perfectly representative of all maps - as actually in OP i lose no maps but climb. Try to leave your opinion out of it when reading what others say - you can actually write something relevant to what they say then. " So you admit you might have been incredibly lucky and then link to a post where you also admit that the level of currency investment required for sustaining maps isn't actually sustainable, but you're still arguing that "players can do 79++ all day long" and map drops are fine? You don't see anything wrong with your argument? IGN: WeenieHuttSenior

" I wasn't "incredibly lucky". The level i run in that post is not the same as in this post, plus in that post even though running higher maps, i actually sustain the level meaning 77+ is possibly sustainable if you invest that much. A completely different situation. I wanted to give you an idea that this isn't just a 1 off experiment and base all my posts on just this. If they boost map drop rates to slackers/failrollers level, i will run 79+ all day. Just what it is. The reason we didn't do that with the insane droprates from 1.3, was that maps were capped at 78 so even if they made maps drops even more abundant you still would run 77/78 all day. Sorry bro. I am the light of the morning and the shadow on the wall, I am nothing and I am all.

I guess it makes sense that in the first month people haven't built up a new map pool yet and so the sustainability seems impossible. Then in the second month, some people (like TC) cross the hurdle and it starts to look a lot more doable. Sounds like GGG got the tuning just right for this transition point to occur during a league's life span. Next month there will probably be even more people indicating they can sustain high maps. For now though, Crackmonster, you're going to remain a loner until more people catch up.

" Really? I think you taking a few days off is indeed a good idea. | |
" How were you not incredibly lucky? In the post you linked, you invested more in those maps, WAY more than the ones in this post, but you just barely hit the point of sustainability " How are those numbers anywhere close to being okay when those maps you rolled were just about at the limit of possible investment? Also this line right here " How can you possibly be okay with this? IGN: WeenieHuttSenior
