[2.2] [Video] The Iron Reave - 100k DPS Crit Duel Wield Block Iron Reflex Reaver
Heya Stylertyp, your gear looks pretty solid if you ask me. If you are looking for more dps, what I found out is attack speed scales crazy with this build. If you could squeeze in attack speed on gloves,rings,amulet, and even the rapier you would get a lot of return for your value.
Just remove faster attacks from your setup and do a little math and see how much dps you lose, if you could replace a few of those low add dmg types (elemental imo) or stat points with attack speed I bet it would help a lot. It might sound crazy sense this build already attacks so fast, but for some reason attack speed just scales so good with this build for dps. But honestly that is the only thing I see lacking on the gear, I don't see any attack speed at all, and there is always room for a better weapon. I think my weapon is 257dps, I've seen upgrades of up to 450dps. But my little 257dps rapier has been pulling its weight extremely well. I'm still pretty new to PoE so take my advice with a grain of salt. If you're looking for help in the defense department, I can't help you there. |

Hey,
Thanks for the really fast reply! I can really say that attack speed is pretty great with this build. It's also just pretty funny to see the animation trying to keep up with your stabs. As for the weapon, I tried a few ones with alot higher DPS(250-400 or something like that), but for some reason the tooltip even reduced the damage. Sure the tooltip likes to lie but it really confused me so I just went back to my old one. As for your experience with poe I can't really agree with you, your build seems so well thought thru and even your post been really informativ in this thread, so I think I can rely on your opinion. For the next step I'm gonna try a new rapier and amulet and see where that takes me! Thanks again and happy hunting Jim |

" This isn't my build, you can thank @ZweihundertMorder for the great build. I'm just a exiler trying to help another fellow exiler. As far as those 250-400 dps weapons go, the modifiers on them in my opinion are the most impactful. A weapon with 400effective dps would get outweighed by a 350 with better modifiers if that makes sense. The OP has a pretty good lay-out of item modifiers to search for, just need to watch out for those weapons that look good on paper but aren't so great for scaling with this build. |

@stylertyp
From what i can see you lack Life on every piece of gear. You should not use a Doryanis Belt, should add that in the FAQ sektion. A good rare belt has up to 160 Life. Doryanis has 15Life. The resists are not that special and you can get the same Phys damage boost on a Rustic Sash together with 100 Life. Also get Life on Gloves, Rings and boots. Try to get a Abyussus with a lower damage taken roll, 5% inc. damage taken can be a big deal. As for Weapons: A higher pdps with lower crit, lower crit multi or lower attack speed can result in lower overall DPS. If you have both weapons and use them together with the same offhand weapon you can compare the tooltip pretty well. Hope that helps! Current Builds:

" Well, that was awkward. It was kinda late when I saw your reply and just didn't pay attention to your name to be honest! Thanks for the help anyways! I think I really need to have a lookout for a better weapon, but I should cather some currency first. @ZweihundertMorder Yeah, I tried to get a better sash, even used one for the longest time, but when it came to upgrading and they are just sooo expensive... So I tried to find a middle ground. Guess I should move a belt higher on the list aswell then. As for life I don't really saw the use in it a long time while playing. But now at this level I really feel the disadvantage to only have ~3k life. I think I did got a Sword with lower Crit-Chance so that could have been it, thanks for clearing that up. Thanks you both for your great replies! Cheers Jim |

On the topic of weapons: Keep in mind that between abyssus and the rest of your gear, you are adding something like 60-70 physical damage to your weapon attacks. This makes for example an 1.3 aps 350 damage sword basically the same damage as a 1.9 aps 300 damage sword. Abyssus also adds a massive ammount of crit multiplier, making higher crit more valuable, although the difference won't be as big as the attack speed difference. It's probably a good idea to do a more extensive damage calculation before buying a new sword. I recently bought a 1.94 aps 8.16 crit sword with around 225 dps, and it was a nice upgrade over my 280 dps sword with 5 crit and 1.3 aps.

Hello.
Wanna try this build. Is it capable to do atziri runs ,kill Rigwald etc? |
|
It can kill Atziri but its not very good at doing it.
Many of the mechanics we use don´t work well in the Atziri fight. So killing Atziri is possible but if you plan to farm Atziri i would choose another build that is better at the fight. Current Builds:

Great guide.
Just a heads up. The leveling guides look like they might be from an old version of the tree since there are a couple linking holes around the shadow area in all of them. |
|
Updated the leveling Trees, no holes left :)
