Oh man, this wrong on so many levels. You obviously enjoy playing the game. If you're not willing to give its creators even the 10 bucks for a discounted stash tab pack, then you'll just have to make do with mule accounts. Stop whining, you get soooo much for free in POE!

Suppose GGG would give only 1 free stash tab then what ? Would you still say 'c'mon man be happy with that after all it 's free!'? 4 tabs were ok when there were that many items in game but now with Divination cards and all other new stuff added that is clearly not even close to being enough. Again being forced to give 10 bucks that way is not ok at all if you ask me. 5 tabs for Awakeining is the same as having 4 tabs for the current state of PoE.

Well, you must see the topic from both sides:
1. The players want f2p and as much convenience as possible. That is all right.
2. The game producer needs to pay the rent.
In order to keep the game alive money has to flow from someone to the game producer. It is only fair that this "someone" is the playerbase. So, most companies either
A) make you pay for the game. 50 bucks is quite common.
B) make you subscribe to play, 10 bucks a month is quite common.
C) make you buy advantages in game.
GGG has chosen option C. And as only extra character slots and stash tabs confer any advantage to the player, I think they have chosen a very benign compromise.

I see what you mean but you miss the point that a lot of new items are going to be added with the release of Awakening. If 4 free tabs were ok for GGG 'to pay the rent' and all that stuff why 5 are not (considering a number of items grows substantially)? As I already said I have purchased 20 extra stash tabs mainly to thank the devs for such an amazing game as PoE is. And I really appreciate GGG's way of monetizing it. But keeping only 4 free tabs while at the same time adding so much collectable loot to game is just making PoE more 'inconvenient' for players who are not willing (or can't afford) to pay.
I see they are coming together:) Just one question shouldn't "The Gladiator" say Unique Nightmare Bascinet? Also my favourite is Emperor's Luck. Muhahahaha hihihihi hahhahaha. We will hear some stories about this one for sure:)
I AM MAD
ZAP!ZAP!ZAP! ME SOOO WIZZARD!
you are enjoying this game? (or have have enjoyed for many hours?)
then please Think of donating some Money to GGG to carry on making more stuff/items and more Acts (Act 4 is just getting started!!!)
For you donation You get Points ......Maybe buy some stash Tabs

Dont forget you have 4 stash tabs and 26 chars thats 4 + 26 = 30 (in each league) for free !!!

There are lots of other free to play games you can moan about ;-)

Does GGG told before if each card in a same group has the same chance to drop or not ?
If not, every one will (the hoarder for example) keep many 1/12 to 11/12 parts, waiting for the 12/12 to drop, like we all do for sacrifice/mortal fragments...

Someone said on this topic "there's 150 cards, that's only 1 stash shut up". Well, but i think 1/12 to 11/12 takes 11 slots, so if the cards are on average 6 parts, and you store 2 stack of each, that's now (6-1)x2=10 tabs !

In real world you'll probably only use 1 or 2 tabs depending on which cards you collect (most of us won't care about "20 wisdoms" card for example), but saying 1 tab is enough for ALL cards is totally wrong.

I'm personally ok with that "collect in new tabs" fact, but i just hope if odds in a same card group are different for each part, you don't have to play 1000 hours average to get that 12/12 last card part.

I guess as GGG grows and adds more servers around the world, they also need more money to keep going. I still feel their payment model to be fair, especially because you can avoid it by using mules.
May your maps be bountiful, exile
These seem very nice, I'm looking forward to seeing where/how often these drop. Was hoping to see the Windripper card here, but hey, we need some left for the release. :) Hopefully the cards for the GG uniques will drop in high level zones already worth farming, so it will be worthwhile even if you only find cards occasionally.

To add some perspective to the f2p discussion, not all players are from first world countries. I myself am working a relatively well paying job full time while also paying for my student loans. Buying 200 points costs about one quarter of my monthly disposable income. I still bought a few tabs, but it was a decision I had to consider carefully. Without tabs you simply can not sell stuff, so after a time you will need them. I really enjoy this game, but will not be able to even think of a decent supporter pack until I emigrate.

In all honesty, I think both of you are right in this case. I believe something like 6-7 free tabs for freebie players would be quite fair for current state of game, considering the fact that we had 4 from the PoE Open Beta launch (haven't played CB) and the amount of items added to the game since then. For a side note, I have 34 tabs right now and considering buy more. You know, the more you have the more you want...
Like 3rd edition of MTG. So many good memories.
For all interested players (more stash tabs for new players or all), i started in April a thread where i ask if this would be a good idea.
Here the reaction of the other players

The first time I looked at these, I was amazed. Dashing artwork, intricacy and expanding the options on the ways of playing your own 'version' of the endgame.... just beautiful.

Definitively on my toes now, waiting for more info and closed beta introduction for testing.
