More Divination Cards

Oh man, this wrong on so many levels. You obviously enjoy playing the game. If you're not willing to give its creators even the 10 bucks for a discounted stash tab pack, then you'll just have to make do with mule accounts. Stop whining, you get soooo much for free in POE!

Suppose GGG would give only 1 free stash tab then what ? Would you still say 'c'mon man be happy with that after all it 's free!'? 4 tabs were ok when there were that many items in game but now with Divination cards and all other new stuff added that is clearly not even close to being enough. Again being forced to give 10 bucks that way is not ok at all if you ask me. 5 tabs for Awakeining is the same as having 4 tabs for the current state of PoE.

Personally I find some merit in the idea of adding a tab as the number of items in the game grows. You aren't ever FORCED to buy anything though. If you feel that, it's strictly internal to you.

Also, I think it's easy to forget how generous GGG is with their stuff.

Go play Might and Magic Heroes Online for example. You get 1 character slot for free. You get an inventory that holds 15 items, with cosmetics, quest objects, and pretty much everything you can think of taking a slot. You get a stash that holds 3 objects.

That game is incredibly stingy. It's easy to see nothing but GGG/PoE and forget the context of the gaming world and therefore to lose appreciation for GGG's policies.

It is still 100% free and not pay to win. There is a pay for convenience factor with the stash tabs, but since GGG has explicitly stated that using mule accounts to get extra stash tabs/character inventory space is perfectly cool, you can get those tabs without paying.

Not sure how you don't understand that.

i understand fine. i'm saying the game is becoming p2w at the highest levels. maybe you should try to reach top10 in a race league before offering your opinion.

Why would anyone want any of this junk in place of a normal item?

What is the point of any of these things? To add more clutter in game and encourage people to buy stash tabs?

If they are as rare as the items they represent (or proportionally given the card factor), then what is the point of them?

If they are more common, then why didn't GGG just up the drop rates for the items being represented?

Why have this dumb middleman that we have to collect and store?

Honestly.

What is the point?

Seems like a bunch of garbage to me. But we will have to pick it up and collect it because it is valuable garbage.

Seriously. This is incredibly stupid.

i dont know how the system will work yet but its probably like someone said,
you will occasionally find "parts of the item". so if an item has 10 parts,
you will get a feeling to "getting closer to getting the full item" with this system
there is a slight problem tho:
you will have to grind the same zone, over.. and over... and over.....
i dont mind. but some people might mind it since it will probably take 1+month with 8hours playing each day to get the full item
anwyays, youre free to change zones ofcourse if youre looking for many different items then you can go to other zones and then come back to that favorite zone later

edit: there are some bigger problems tho,

"Some of them aren't specific though. Like "Axe" or "Currency" which can mean anything. It depends on the drop rate. If it's easy to get the cards for a Level 21 Spell Gem that could be useful as opposed to leveling up the gem yourself and hopefully corrupting it properly."
so im wondering how much easier it will be to get "any level 21 spell gem" than
"that specific level 21 gem"
guess well see

Why not just have a card specific collectors tab?

A tab large enough to fit all kinds of cards but only cards.
Walking the path since August 20th 2011.

Well, you must see the topic from both sides:
1. The players want f2p and as much convenience as possible. That is all right.
2. The game producer needs to pay the rent.
In order to keep the game alive money has to flow from someone to the game producer. It is only fair that this "someone" is the playerbase. So, most companies either
A) make you pay for the game. 50 bucks is quite common.
B) make you subscribe to play, 10 bucks a month is quite common.
C) make you buy advantages in game.
GGG has chosen option C. And as only extra character slots and stash tabs confer any advantage to the player, I think they have chosen a very benign compromise.

Remember that no one forces you to collect loot at all, you could be a lot more radical in sorting out the trash from the stuff you want to keep. In fact, you don't even need to play the game if you feel you cannot deal with too much loot in too little space. So, any money people give to GGG is 100% voluntary. Anyone who just freeloads off GGGs work and the paying players' contributions should not complain but be thankful for the amazing game they get for free.

I don't like the exalted orb card. I don't see why it's called the hoarder and the flavor text is flavourless imo.
The exalted orb is the most "popular" kind of orb and I think they deserve a more memorable card.

Edit: What colour will divination cards have as a loot? Are they considered unique, currency, white items or will they have their own colour?

If you care this much about it, then did you attempt to create a card for it? If not, then dont complain. Someone else just placed their stamp on it, so let it go...
GGG listens to its fans!!! Thank you!

It's only my feelings about this card. If the supporter really likes his card and think it has its place in the game, then ok, I'm fine with it.
It's just that there can only be 1 exalted orb card and I would have liked it to be as exciting as the orb itself when it drops.
