More Divination Cards

The wisdom scroll one would be nice if it dropped in act one but the vendor to trade the card in isn't until act 4 when you have mush less of a wisdom (or transmutes to vendor for wisdom) problem. I can also trade transmutes for wisdom at any vendor in my hideout as well, so half of the convenience of the card is made up by extra zone switching.

That was my one problem with making the card. Still, a lot of newer people will still need a stack of scrolls come act 4, even if it would be more useful early on. Experienced players wont of course, but I had no intention of the card being used by older players. The whole point was to make it for the newer accounts.

Ohhh the Axe!

THough I have 23 stash tabs I think that in the light of introducing Divination Cards to PoE GGG should give 5 stash tabs to players by default. There's a difference between a player 'willing to pay' and 'being forced to pay'. Please, GGG don't go the latter way.
Random currency card? Waiting for the Reddit posts "I got 5 exalted from that, get rekt" and "Only ever get 5 Transmutes fak RNG".
Why would anyone want any of this junk in place of a normal item?

What is the point of any of these things? To add more clutter in game and encourage people to buy stash tabs?

If they are as rare as the items they represent (or proportionally given the card factor), then what is the point of them?

If they are more common, then why didn't GGG just up the drop rates for the items being represented?

Why have this dumb middleman that we have to collect and store?

Honestly.

What is the point?

Seems like a bunch of garbage to me. But we will have to pick it up and collect it because it is valuable garbage.

Seriously. This is incredibly stupid.
It's worth noting that +2 maps are a dangerous thing.
They can cause players to get out of their depth -
playing maps that are too hard for the items they currently have. Herp Derp.

Actually, the point is that you can now grind for specific items. This works in 2 ways:
1. Specific cards drop in specific areas. While I don't like this idea (because it will drive people to do all their farming in fewer areas), it will serve this purpose.
2. Assume that the exalted orb card has a drop rate 12x that of an exalted orb. That means you will occasionally find one of these, even if you hardly ever find a full orb. So you get a sense of progress towards the orb and you can trade for missing cards with other people who might be missing cards you found.

So, this will smooth out some of the RNG spikes.

it's already hard enough to manage stash space with only four tabs. it's practically impossible to do the chaos/regal recipes. needing to devote yet another tab to yet another type of item isn't an option. the f2p player is quickly being left in the dust.

Oh man, this wrong on so many levels. You obviously enjoy playing the game. If you're not willing to give its creators even the 10 bucks for a discounted stash tab pack, then you'll just have to make do with mule accounts. Stop whining, you get soooo much for free in POE!
May your maps be bountiful, exile
I love the artwork! I'm really excited about having them in the game and collectively finding where they drop. And of course more, more, more!

The bolded part is absolutely right. New content will always come out. Free players will always have to decide what to prioritize in their stash. GGG has explicitly given their blessing to mule accounts to assist free players in dealing with this issue. How many companies confirm that finding an alternative to paying them for something is cool?

Free players need to just accept the reality of an ever-evolving online game. If someone can't, then it's time to find another way to spend your free time.

underlined the important part

It is still 100% free and not pay to win. There is a pay for convenience factor with the stash tabs, but since GGG has explicitly stated that using mule accounts to get extra stash tabs/character inventory space is perfectly cool, you can get those tabs without paying.

Not sure how you don't understand that.

Suppose GGG would give only 1 free stash tab then what ? Would you still say 'c'mon man be happy with that after all it 's free!'? 4 tabs were ok when there were that many items in game but now with Divination cards and all other new stuff added that is clearly not even close to being enough. Again being forced to give 10 bucks that way is not ok at all if you ask me. 5 tabs for Awakeining is the same as having 4 tabs for the current state of PoE.
