Eh, no.

As seen in the manifesto about map drops, GGG balances around the top 0.5% of players. (Nerfing the map drop rate as certain groups of high level dedicated players are able to have a high level map pool too easily in GGG opinion.)

So GGG will always balance around the existence of mirror items. Thats why a lot of people want mirrors and eternals removed as they hope (me included, but probably in vain anyway) that it would make GGG balance the game so that great items are obtainable without the very high end/costly trading of mirroring but instead in crafting for themselves.

As if that would ever happen but hey, anything that nerfes trading is ok in my opinion. I prefer my economy games to be business tycoon games and not action RPGs. ;)

With the quality bonus nerf of cyclone and the AoE nerf of Concentrated Effect we'll be getting worse cyclone AoE than what we have now.. and the mediocre values of the Martial Artistry unique jewel won't help at all.

There are essentially 2 ways to deal with the very low AoE radius of unarmed cyclone at the moment:
1. Having higher DPS and using HoA + Ele prolif to use the burning effect of HoA as a way to deal with the low AoE
2. Using Carcass Jack and in many cases inc AoE support gem

the first option is absolutely destroyed in the beta and with the said relevant aoe nerfs the not so mandatory inc AoE support gem seems much more needed now ... and using a different chest ( i was hoping that it would be possible ) is no way an option.
I can see a third option - not using conc effect and that way we won't be needing inc AoE ... but there is one problem ... without them we won't need any blue sockets .. and getting the needed colors on Carcass Jack would be impossible ... so we'll need to use a different chest. But that means that we'll loose the huge aoe boost of the Carcass ... and once again we'll face terrible AoE.

That's why they are liars, like it or not.
The fact is that this shows how PoE really turns around temp leagues. Glad to have finally realized this, despite all the efforts they have made to believe otherwise.

facebreaker will have to use ice crash for mobs and cyclone for bosses. It is not a big deal if you can get the same color in your 6l for those 2 skills.

I don t follow beta, what the quality on cyclone now ?

Well the thing is that Ice Crash and Cyclone don't use the same colors and you can't just swap one of the them for the other. :/
Cyclone uses RRGGBB or RRRGGB while Ice Crash uses RRRRRG or RRRRGB. The thing about ICe crash is that Conc effect has a huge negative impact on its AoE so it's much more reasonable not to use ... and because of that you need no blue sockets for it. So in the end not only the socket colors are unmatchable but the needed colors for Ice Crash cannot occur on a Carcass Jack
The quality of the Cyclone was reduced in half from 20% inc AOE at 20% quality to 10% inc AOE
And Conc effect is now 25% LESS aoe radius not to mention that 'the damage of conc effect was also nerfed.

So the most reasonable way to do Cyclone FB would be to use Inc AoE and carcass jack just to get close to the AoE radius that you are having now ( and of course we can't speak of any improvements )
But the other thing is that with the introduction of the mandatory Fortify jewel ... you must fit it in somewhere in your 6L setup ... my hopes where to drop Inc AoE for Fortify but at the moment this doesn't seem to be possible ... so i'll have to drop Increased Melee Physical Damage and i'll loose some DPS.

So in the end we end up with:
- less AoE radius
- less DPS
+ Fortify buff

Is it balanced? Well based on the live realm at the moment - sure! But we are getting harder content with the Awakening yet no ways to get a more powerful character.
Of course these are all thoughts based on what we currently have and know and things might (hopefully) change.

What you and i personaly prefer is not the rignt way to judge the nerf of mirrored items.
The game's logo is a mirror. Bis items are meant to happen.

ok, i´m relative new to the game. but i understand that it was hard to craft this weapon.

BUT.

if i have a car that drive 300 mph, and i get to my goal quickly.
why is this car getting bad if there is a new car that drive 310 mph?????

the above weapon will still be better than what 99% of the players have...

it sounds that its becomming worthless...

Do you suggest crafters and trade tycoons craft insane gear and offer mirror services this out of their love for humanity or similar noble intentions? No, they do it to make profit and become richer and richer. Those mirror-worthy items cost 100s upon 100s of exalts and eternals. These people did not find that currency on the ground, the robbed, flipped, scammed and monopolized their way to the riches. They do not deserve any praise. If you want to mirror their item, it is strictly business--you pay the fee, you get item, no emotions but certainly there is no need to be grateful one single bit to them.
