All accounts have an equal chance of being selected. It's important that we get a mix of new players and veterans. Their feedback and data is equally useful.

As you can see, I am affected too. I have to wait. But this game is great and GGG earns every support in the world.

I had a feeling they were going to do this based on the fact they cut off access to the Forgotten Masters packs on 4/19/15. They also said that the Awakening packs will probably include beta access. I would expect that multiple levels of Awakening packs might include the access; I'm not certain if all prior levels of supporters will automatically get in. There are tens of thousands of us.

I would hope that all of the Awakening packs would include it, but there is still the potential of selling tens of thousands of packs the first day they are available if the pricing structure is the same as it was for the Forgotten Masters packs. I know I'm in on day one for at least the same tier I have purchased previously, regardless of any beta access. I'll start there and upgrade later if I feel I can. My other two packs were purchased near the end of the access, so I never really had the chance to work up to the high end packs.

I also missed out on some of the earlier packs that I might have otherwise had a chance to get if I'd been paying attention and been more into the game at that point. I don't plan on letting that happen going forward if they keep delivering an excellent product with a great commitment behind it. The only one(s) I truly wouldn't have been able to buy would have been closed beta or earlier, as I joined in the first few days of open beta.

Granting additional access on top of the random selection process, does not invalidate the random process and make that statement a lie.

enjoy beta rich ppls :D. too bad for me. not rich enough for top tier support packs.

I couldn't afford the top tier packs either,
But I don't have a problem with these supporters getting access now..
Like Chris explained in the last post the first few days of Beta were
pretty buggy to play anyway.. now they are letting in the past top supporters..
then soon a bunch more ppl will get in. nbd.

Look more like "Magic: The Gathering" to me, but I'm far from an expert. I know PoE has taken quite a bit of inspiration from MTG.
