I'm sorry to learn that you were prohibited by law or by the GGG brute squad from having an equal chance to buy a diamond supporter pack. I know that feeling.. .


When I mailed GGG $1,000 (in low unmarked bills, of course) to get a diamond supporter pack, I didn't hear back from them for over a week.

Then I heard loud footsteps outside and two people in strange wet suits (I recognize them now as the Steam Powered Armor) showed up banging on my door with six linked mauls. When I opened the door, they threw my money back at me and said "We did an ancestry check, and there isn't one person of nobility in your bloodline. Your application for Diamond status is DENIED!"

I was shocked by what they said, so when I felt the slap on my face, I took an additional 50% damage. "You just slapped me with a wet fish!" I shouted.

"You'll never be able to verify that!" the taller of the two chuckled. Then they barged into my house, saying "We need to ascertain that your Kiwis are licensed and properly housed."

Luckily Arthur and Fenchurch (my Divine and Regal Rhoas respectively, since they can sort of fly) knew to hide under the bed. After stomping around for a few minutes, the smaller of the two the two laughed in a feminine voice, and said "We'll be confiscating these!" and she pilfered my Staghorn Fern, Sago Palm and Ghost Orchid.

Carrying my prized plants, they finally left my house. The taller of the two Steam suit thugs turned and yelled out "We'll be back when you least expect us!"

The smaller one said, "I wish I could hear the lamentation of his woman when she discovers what I took."

I think I know who she is, but I dare not say anymore.

Are you also planning to give beta access to "lower-level" supporters (like Gold, Exalted, Master ...) in like 2-3 weeks or so?

When cams the German localization?

Wish i'd thrown more money at this game earlier :(

For those complaining that the game is not f2p or it is p2w because they can't get into the closed beta, I am sorry but the Closed Bed is NOT the game. The game is Path of Exile 1.3.1, it is free to play and not pay 2 win.

The closed beta is a different product (in fact an unfinished product) and it is not meant to be accessible to everyone. As others said they could have made it accessible only if you pay if they wanted, but apart from people raging about it it would also bring another problem: two many people would pay.

They had to find ways to filter the playerbase and giving the highest tier supporters was a gift for their support. It was a risky move I guess based on this thread, but yeah there will always be people complaining.

Also I don't think they will add lower tier supporters. This will just bring more rage and it will somehow validate the arguments about supporters buying beta keys.

Yes closed beta is the game. What game do u think you're playing some rip off version of the game? Hell no. Most of the monsters and dungeons layouts will keep the same consistent AI, layout and movement. Which all current players will and can be strategized for, for months.. Which is an obvious advantage over non-closed-beta players.
