Stuff like that is NOT available by just googling information.
That's my point.

@monkuar Im sorry you can't see the difference but I hope you get access to relieve us all a little, entertaining though you may be.
As I said in my previous posts.... Even if I were to receive a key I wouldn't touch it or click the redeem button with a 20 foot pole. It would go against all my beliefs in this thread and be shameful. I'm sticking with my guns on this one, sorry.
So why are you arguing? You don't want supporters in... you don't want beta invite winners in, Who in the name of the lord (chris) should get beta access then?
The initial beta selection was fine until this topic was made.

I care because this decision goes against GGG's core philosophy of Pay 2 Win. Plus, it's disrespectful to us loyal players to have the same chance to get into beta as some random new account. That is not right, and not how sampling should work for a beta...
Not only that, but people were accepted into beta by their donation amount... makes it even worse.
Well, suppose..

That guy makes no argument.. just because I don't race doesn't mean I cannot say that the new leagues are competitive? Really? That's a fact.
And if you have CB access before others in a competition (that was PAID to get into, this TOPIC), that is pay 2 win. It's really that simple. By definition.
dude why do you care so much? it seems you take it easy and don't really try to compete for top anything anyway. Not that there's anything wrong with that, I'm just curious.

look man many of are disappointed in how GGG handled this beta. I had my PJ Salt as well (i think I even told Chris to fire himself, sorry Chris). I dont think supporters should have beta access, but once GGG opened that door, I wonder how my $500 in purchases in support to GGG is not equal to the $500 a grandmaster pack purchaser made. I also think the 5 min timer is idiotic, but oh well. I figure I have 2 options, be pissed and leave POE completely or deal with it and be a man. I decided on option 2.
3 minutes ago you were arguing it was unfair advantage, when I gave you a good counter arguement, now you switched its all about pay to win.
I will say this though, if I think someone is having an advantage on the mechanics of fight, I will study them on you tube or streams and the good thing is I am intellectual enough to pick up the mechanic.

Let's add a FUCKING timer that count down every 5 minutes and randomly chooses a player and gives them a beta key. That completely undermines EVERY SINGLE loyal player they ever had on this forum
Kind of like dinosaurs undermining humans?
The timer existed long before almost every poster and player of PoE.
Nope. That timer started after the announcement. It did not start before.
And what does dinosaurs have anything to do with our discussion?
Well dinosaurs have an advantage over humans cuz they were here first. Or was it that dinosaurs are p2w? I really cant keep track anymore...

It's both man. It's pay 2 win and an unfair advantage. The Pay 2 Win requires the unfair advantage to happen for it to become Pay 2 Win. If that makes sense.
I understand your position but saying: 'if I think someone is having an advantage on the mechanics of fight, I will study them on you tube or streams' does not change the fact that those CB players who played and fought those bosses for HOURS still are at an advantage than non CB players are they not?
Why is it so had to grasp this. It's mind boggling you won't admit it.. It's like you think you are entitled to beta because you donated... That's sick.

well you apparently can't read, I said supporters should not have been in as well, but GGG opened that door not me. Are you really telling me that by watching a game mechanic on a video, you're not able to understand the fight? if that's the case I understand your frustration.

There was a timer back in August 2011. I'm not sure about July 2011, because I wasn't signed up then. The timer determined who got into the beta. Like he dinosaurs existing before humans, the timer existed before most players started playing PoE.
Someone in the closed beta sent me this picture of the tenth boss, but they didn't tell me his name:
They only said that they tried to fight him, but he left the building when he was near death, and came back all recharged. It reminded me of something, but I can't figure out what?

I never understood what the hurry is anyways, sure I want in to theorycraft new builds, but at this point that is a moot point. So much is going to change in the next few weeks that you can't really work on a new build until the last few weeks. A great example is that I expect that they will likely do a wipe fairly soon and then probably again when they implement the lockstep so people can test lockstep from the start. I would not be surprised if we saw 4 or 5 wipes in the next 6 weeks as they are testing things as they want people to spend more time in the leveling sections where most of the changes are not just in the map section of the game which changed very little outside of builds.
At this point the main thing you would be doing is just testing and trying to break things. If you are a good tester you keep a lot of notes on everything such as how each act felt as you went through it and any points where you felt a slow down or points that felt overly quick or confusing, kinda like what ziggy was doing. If you enjoy testing it is quite fun, I personally find it fun but proper testing is something most people actually find kinda kinda annoying because you tend to have things like random wipes.
