I care because this decision goes against GGG's core philosophy of Pay 2 Win. Plus, it's disrespectful to us loyal players to have the same chance to get into beta as some random new account. That is not right, and not how sampling should work for a beta...

Not only that, but people were accepted into beta by their donation amount... makes it even worse.
