How the Closed Beta is going so far

Playing with four accounts... but registered before it was indicated that was forbiden... so i think i ll have to write support to fix that :P

I sign in via steam-account, is there any hope getting access to the beta that way? I can imagine that releasing the beta on steam is not an easy task to accomplish...

ppl make tons fake acc and wait i saw ppl buying beta keys .... i can't believe that ppl make cash on keys from fake accounts

The beta is going very well, Chris. It's been great watching ZiggyD, Helman, Mors, Etup, etc... and seeing POE high on the Twitch game list at times (3-5).

But you screwed up this thread. You should have said "You are not a unique and beautiful snowflake". Or, "Congratulations, welcome to the Beta! Your Beta key is in the mail! Please allow 6-8 weeks for delivery."

Also, uniques or riot! NAOW! NAOW!

Good luck with the development, eagerly awaiting Act 4.

I'm not particularly happy about how this beta has been handled. It's not jealoucy for those who got into the beta, I'd just prefer no leaks until I could experience the game myself. At the same time, since I'm playing only HC leagues, I feel I need to "catch up" with what's going on to avoid unnecessary deaths that will slow down my development in the new economy. It's my own choice, I know, but it's a tricky one. Do I shut off entirely and avoid spoiling the content, potentially handicapping, or do I keep up with the news, watch streams and youtube videos.

I feel it's questionable in terms of retention as well. I suspect I will quit the next league at an earlier point due to plain game-fatigue. Also there is currently little point of playing the game, since "everything" is about to change 1.5 months down the line. How long into next racing season before the streams, that are now going 24/7, are dead?

To those not in the Beta yet: Thanks for your patience. Having played The Awakening, I can't imagine how frustrating it must be to have to wait.

For me, waiting to be extracted and 'like when a child falls on the first tooth and puts it under the pillow, waiting for the the following day to receive your pennies from the fairy thoot ! :D
