Yes, they have. Then they were banned and legitimate people replaced them.

Our systems for duplicate account detection are very advanced because we use them for large-scale bot/RMT detection. We block 99.5% of the shill accounts that people make, and that number is only growing as we refine the detection mechanisms.

I can't understand what are your mechanism to avoid people who do multiple account because I'm not an informatic guy. So I'm gonna ask this: is my account included in your avoid-list since I play PoE with the same PC (and same IP too) that my bro uses to play? We just have different accounts: ours are not "multiplicative" effectively... I just play with my account on my own, but does your detection system consider my account as a "multiplicative"?

i have not the beta key, but i see in act 4 in Twitch... the act is not all..why ??

there is no true way to stop multi accts considering some ips can be changed. my ip changes everytime I have to reset my modem/router. and honestly they shouldnt have been advertising new act coming in april. it should have been new beta coming in april instead. and you people need to realize that people that are smart enough to program or do any kind of game or pc development may be smart but don't have a lick of common sense. its like the saying states. hey they have book smarts but not street smarts. again these are just opinions and everyone knows opinions are like assholes everyone has one. and on the people who created an acct after beta launch I think be removed and replaced with people that have alittle game time under the belt. I used to play wow and started during closed beta for vanilla and did test other exspanions. I understand the need for testing. but GGG needs to take lessons from other companies about how to do said closed betas.

Oh god (chris) please no more freaking wings.!

Looks like good stuff so far, thou the Minions from what I could see really don't pull aggro very well, which was intentional, but I feel that it may be a little bit much.
That, and Summon Skeletons apparently still sucks, but who's surprised by that?

Golems however looks bloody awesome.

I wanted to comment on multiple accounts:

I am likely not the only one to fall into this category.

When I first saw the signup for beta page I was not logged in and hit the signup button.

I first tried to sign up using my POE account name and password, but for some reason that name was already used (lol - it was late). So I thought you needed a new account for beta and sign up using a different email. Then later realized I was stupid (actually I realized that a long time ago) and signed up using my POE account.

So now I am technically signed up twice. I hope this does not completely eliminate me from the pool.

Especially if you need a few below average intelligence testers (you know for the stupid questions)
