Yeah, I actually didn't think about swapping out Hatred. Right now, I'm using Herald of Lightning + Wrath + Hatred but I'll see about getting Anger in place unless Herald of Ice is a viable choice as you mentioned.

After level 70 you should be able to use 4 auras when paired with a high level reduced mana gem.
Wrath, Herald of Thunder, Anger, Herald of Ice.
You' get a 5th aura, Haste, when you pair it with CoDT + Spell Totem+ Haste

It's easy to craft claws better than the ones you have. I did not yet because I want to craft some great claws from the masters and I need lvl 8 masters to do it. The trick is, and its kinda expensive, is grab about 20 tigers paws.
Then transmute them all.
Alt them all until they have attack speed.
Now add a 2nd mod to all that don't.
ALways pick the worst claw out of the bunch to roll mods.
When you use up all your alts and have attack speed on them all...
Start with the best claw and regal them all from best to worst.
Pick your two best claws and add a master craft.
If you can add multiple crafted mods, you should be golden.

The best mods are:
Attack Speed, Increased Ele Dmg, Crit Chance, Crit Multiplier, Lightning damage, Cold Damage, Fire Damage

Another thing I have been doing is picking up every tigers paw I find and I use them for alch recipe. I make 3 of them 20% quality, alch one, transmute the other, and if the alched one is bad, I sell them and get my alch back. Try to get any claw with >20% ias. Your attack speed gains will be exponential.

I've been away from the game for a while but I ran a dual claw shadow in the last league before the 1.3 patch.. Rampage I believe.

I strayed quite a bit, but I mostly followed this guys guide here: http://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/928622

I posted on page 6 of that thread. I took lots of crit nodes and all the dual wield block nodes. It was the most fun character I played with no real weaknesses that I can recall. I generally crit and froze all the mobs plus insane life leech and good armor made for really good survivability. Unfortunately, I got bored one night and decided to try and 6L my armor.. I failed of course and moved on LOL.

I applaud you for trying something different even though MS is best used scaling off of phys damage. I think it would be really difficult to play this as an invasion build as that one shot that gets through will destroy you without any armor. GMP seems like too much of a damage loss and would probably be best replaced with Concentrated Effect.

But the end game is to have fun and as long as you are having that's all that matters! I might reroll my shadow MS in the new league.

My 19k dps tooltip disagrees with that statement. ANd once I get eleron 8 and craft some decent claws other than the 200 dps ones I am using, and drop in my empower gems I am leveling, I expect 50k tooltip dps which should net 100k dps.

I disagree. Most people I know die due to spells and not a high dmg physical hit. My build allows for over 6k hp which is enough to survive that hard hit if the enemy is enfeebled and immortal call will proc after being hit once which will save you from successive hits.

I've grown to love gmp more so. Not only does it net us more life leech, but an additional 10% IAS for a quality gem and the balls shotgun. I feel like I am doing plenty dps as well.

Yes fun is all that matters. Please try the elemental route I believe you won't be disapointed. Not only is the build cheap dps, but once the right weapons are obtained the damage scales exponentially. I will show once I craft some weapons.

Just curious, how viable would this be using two Mightflay unique daggers as weapons?

These both have life on hit modifiers and do much more phys dmg.

What about two bloodseeker paws with the instant leech?

You can prolly use them early on, but with the awful slow attack speed, their usefulness will quick drop off in compared to a fast claw. Most of the damage is done by scaling the damage of the auras with speed. Elemental damage perfectly scales with speed while physical damage benefits more from large slow attacks. Many people underestimate the damage output of 4 auras. Right now I am dishing out over 10 attacks per second without Haste / Vaal Haste / Frenzy charges. We want elemental damage because we attack fast and attack with many small hits it bad for physical damage due to how armor scales. And we can't get a ton of physical damage from Tigers Claws, yet we can use both weapons to scale our elemental damage from the auras.

You can prolly use two of those, but I don't recommend past lvl 70. They only do 174 dps. Thats pretty low. Your much better off with a fast tigers paw for instant leech. 22% Attack speed, weapon ele dmg, crit multiplier. That will do more damage than a 200 dps weapon and will scale with your auras as you level up. If both claws have that it's like having a 400 dps weapon because the claws will scale togerther like having a big 2H weapon instead of each claw hitting seperate. Especially once you get lvl 22+ AUras and I may exeperiment w/ Alphas helm for lvl 24 auras.

Selling some of my claws I attempted crafting. These are in softcore of course. Equiping the 2 best netted me 17k tooltip dps. They weren't as good as the ones I am currently using but as you can see its not that hard to craft decent claws. These you can add another mod to further increase the DPS. I recommend adding attack speed, ele dmg, crit chance in that order. Next time I attempt to craft weapons it wil be lvl 77 claws. I just crafted these for an example. I used the regals and about... 400 alterations to craft these. SO it's not cheap.

Why using GMP instead of an added dmg gem?

Ever though of an endgame skilltree like THIS?

GMP can shotgun. SO you get more hits per attack (double) so it does add damage, just not tooltip damage.
Quality GMP adds speed
More hits = more life on hit per second.
More smaller hits also allows you to directly tank reflect damage do to chance to dodge.

You could swap GMP w/ power charge on critical or critical chance if you don't like it but your life on hit will be severely reduced especially while using blood rage with low chaos resist.

Ever though of an endgame skilltree like THIS?

I originally thought of something very similar but, as we get better gear, we can despec:
1.) Primal Spirit and Mana: by the ranger tree
2.) Sentinel: by the Scion Tree
3.) That extra 10% elemental damage node.

We can to spec into dual curses because we are so close and it is just too good to pass up using elemental weakness as a second curse which is like adding another "more" damage multiplier. It's worth the stretch into dual curses and if you get an amulet which adds another curse, it is well worth it to use 3 curses.

We should be able to get plenty of resists with gear since the masters make it easy for us now. I am using a 6 link Belly of the Beast, but A really good rare will beat out belly if you get the right mods. Mainly for added resists.

You missed the spec into crit. ANd berserking is just too good a node to pass up. I skip the 4% attack speed nodes. I really like that herbalism node you passed 20% flask recovery is nice I use alot of flasks w/ blood rage and my negative chaos resist.

I'll be away for the next week so you'll have to wait until I get back to get additional questions answered.

Good day everyone!!

I have been thinking about it, and i have not seen anyone asked nor saw anything posted about it here.

We have to craft our Claws,
Here is a website to check the Possible Mods for your claw.
http://poemods.com/index.php?item_type=claw

If you pick up a Item Level 43 Tiger's PAw ... and expect to have 25-27% Attack speed.. never
will happen..

So before crafting your Tiger's Paw. Check it's item level.. ( Left click the weapon hold it, while typing /itemlevel will reveal it's Item Level.)

Then check the website chart:
Local Attack Speed +%
iLvl: 1: 6 to 9 (of Skill)
iLvl: 11 : 5 to 10 (of Ease)
iLvl: 22 : 11 to 13 (of Mastery)
iLvl: 30 : 14 to 16 (of Renown)
iLvl: 37 : 17 to 19 (of Acclaim)
iLvl: 45 : 20 to 22 (of Fame)
iLvl: 60 : 23 to 25 (of Infamy)
iLvl: 77 : 26 to 27 (of Celebration)

So just wanted to help on that side :)
