Edited: I changed up the passive tree for more HP. You will most likely be able to spec out of those resist nodes endgame giving you a few more points to work with.

What do u think about Atziri's Step and Lightning Coil for this build?

Im level 39 just entered Cruel. This my setup for now, i Will be getting Claws later on tho :) havent used CwdT but ill set those up soon, around my levels all the gear sucks... and im in act1 cruel... not good stuff commign out of monsters...

But im lvling fast and easy.

Atziri's Step I wouldn't recommend. There are better rares. Like I said you don't need evasion or armor, it's all about Resists to include chaos and hp. You want some boots w/ dual resists hp and movespeed.

Lightning Coil seems like it would help alot vs physical dmg mitigation. Its really easy to craft an armor out of a 4 or 5 link. I would recommend finding an astral plate, then alting until you have 80+hp and +20 chaos res. Then regal. Then craft a 2nd resist on it. Same goes for helm. You don't need any uniques for this build I think the rares will work better.

Interesting setup. AT cruel ledge, craft yourself some claws. Only a few alts or just transmute every white claw you find until you get a decent dmg or attack speed boosted one. They don't need to be good because herald of ice and wrath do plenty of dmg. The dual claw setup allows you to leech and you really don't need any potions. I recommend a CoDT, Spell Totem, Haste setup. I wish I knew about that earlier while playing it's super nice to have.

If you followed the build exactly as I stated, you should have been able to tank the slam. I think it does 3k dmg. I remember tanking it myself. Was your fire resist maxed and were you shocked? What was your hp? ANd most importantly was he enfeebled? ALWAYS enfeeble. Anf self cast enduring cry to get 3 charges before you tank a boss like that. Don't be sad I got 1 hit to palace dom smash I thought I could tank. I didn't notice the +30% dmg though :/. I decided to continue to build on standard though and will test dom smash dmg and uber aziri I'm confident to be able to complete both, and possibly tank once I get a bit better gear. But I'm in standard and sheets expensive as hell so I will be crafting my own gear from here.

You should be able to tank everything up until merciless vaal. Much of your gear was lacking hp. You need hp on every single piece of gear for melee, which is why i recommend rares, the exception is wearing a goldrim helm for lvling for the extra resists. My resist rings I swap out have that single resist plus HP. I ID all blue rings I come across and stash them if they look useful.

What lvl should we have for CoDT ? and Spell totem and Haste ? cuz lvl 1 CoDT = lvl 1 Haste....I set up my first CoDT gem at merciless ledge. I Linked it with enfeeble, enduring cry, and decoy totem until I found other gems. I keep this first CoDT gem at lvl 1.


Be sure before cruel vaal, if I have not found an enfeeble, I always buy one. Also self cast enduring cry and keep 3 charges up and you can tank him. I had over 2k hp at Cruel Vaal. I think the slam does 1.5k if your maxed on fire res and enfeebled him but I could be wrong I will test some other time. I know for sure merciless vaal hits for 10k dmg and Merciless DOM hits for 6K, 9K if shocked.

Wasn't able to until Merciless Ledge. Thats where I start to look for items and get some quality gems as well.

Doing a conceptually similar (dual tiger paws, ele MS with gmp, acro) shadow in BL at the moment.

Using Revelry instead of BM for sustain (works fine on a 4l as of now and I don't have multistrike yet, so should be fine on at least a 5l) and picked up Ondars.
