" ah. yeah good idea. my build was intended for flicker, was considering using whirling blades to apply poachers mark. Can't really do both. so either, try the mark elsewhere or try icebite without poachers to get frenzy. How needed do you think IC and endurance charges are, with fortify and new arctic armor? "I don't think they are needed as much, but many people died to groups or archers and devourers during beta. Without Immortal call you are now vulnerable to taking 5 hard hits at the same time, and having endurance charges up will definitely likely save you from these deaths. IGN: YeahCrit

Just killed Koam A4 Norm. Was messing with videos alot but it takes a while for me to edit videos so I will ask you all which videos do you prefer to see? Any particular areas? I don't get much play time But I can prolly add 1-2 videos a week. I will post a video of the most requested areas.
KIlled malachai (sp?) wow I definately recommend watching a video before facing him. I did it w/ a friend we were both same level though. He hit hard but he's definitely doable. Wasn't too bad his bark is more than his bite. Just keep him enfeebled, keep your endurance charges up, make sure you have arctic armor going, and keep fortify up. It's alot to juggle but he didn't really scare me during the fight. I towned twice due to running out of potions. I did not manage to make a video my game crashed early on in the fight. My computer was a bit too slow to take a video during the fight you want your framerates kinda high. This was setup when I faced him: I highly recommend bleeding flasks. But I used all my alts and did not manage to roll one :(. I had a bit over 1500 hp I would not attempt under 1200 hp. His slam really hurts. Not sure what damage it does I will have to figure that out before cruel. YeahPete, why is that you only run Wrath aura. I'm running 3 Herald auras right now. Is it much better?

" Bloodrage nerf doesnt give remotely enough frenzy for flickerstrike. It requires more now. ATM, not remembering why I was favoring wb+poachers over CwDT. I think it was to have it on call before starting. A full block/evade/dodge build, Damage taken is not actually routine enough to keep the mark up for charges. Still an option.. considering giving up trying to make flicker work until I have funds to buy specific gear, and/or full sets of 4-5links to get the full skill chains that might be needed. And this is now sidetracking your build talk too much. so enough of that. hah. I was looking at it for defensive options in 2.0. PS. I had molten strike drop, and played with it a bit. level 1 was stronger/more effective flicker/meleestr/msplash... Might have been been more effective then dualstrike. Got an empty blue with your riposte, atm. Throw a "power charge on crit" in there. again, cause why not? Or maybe phys to lit, for a bit more shock. I was going to do mala 6 hours ago but somethings came in between.. just did it after patch using this build and face-tank it with armor pot (thanks to adds almost perma up).
Only thing i dodged was his teleport thing not sure if it hits that hard still didnt wanna test it. 2nd phase as long as i meleed it never teleported. Hearts can be killed without moving thnx to insane self-heal. I kept endu charges and fortify up ofc, 1400 hp, 852 molten strike(wep+gmp+bm) dps with fire golem up and arctic armor. Just typing for anyone else thinking how it is after patch.. my items involve 3 blues and lvl 1 boots etc.. so yeah you ONLY need 1300-ish HP and believe in melee (except teleport). The moment you stop using your attack is when you'll be screwed only. |

I'm at level 65 now. 3kHP max res and 5.8k Molten Strike. This is a very solid build. In my experience, this build can solo Mala pre/post patch very well. I didn't die once while many other peole died more than 20 times vs Mala. The only problem comes later in the game. As you are running dodge, you don't know when you will get hit esp against hard hitter so you cant be prepared. Get as many life note as possible. Beside that I'm also running a combination of defensive skill:
_ Fire golem + GMP/Increased Area of Effect/Faster Casting + Blind _ Whirling blade + Fortify + Stun + Endurance Charge on Stun _ Cast when Damage Taken + Enfeeble + Phase Run + Molten Shell Another inconvenient thing is mana. My Molten strike is only 4 linked and cost 33mana. I'm also running Herald of Thunder + Ice and Artic Armour and I have to keep a mana potion for use. I also linked Herald of Thunder + Ice with Mana Leech. It helps alot but only when the skill proc. Any suggestion get rid of this mana hunger thing? |

" I totally gave up on making flicker work, and then was running icecrash for for a while. died many times on act4 bosses. (also first time vs them, so expected.) Also decided to swap to molten strike, and try it. Great success. Far more damage for the same slot needs it seems. Like a faster attack, melee damage, wpn elem ice crash and then trying to use frenzy to keep up 6frenzy, vs level 1 molten strike/multi/wpn elem/lmp.. way more damage with just those few slots. ice crash also locking into place way more. Moltens delay on explosion, and faster attack allows much more fluid movement. Letting me of course, focus more on defense everywhere else. I'm still swapping over, don't have the full gear for everything needed. and scouring to swap a number of traits. I'm not having any trouble with mana. I do still have druidic rite, spirit void, and primal spirit though. Those should be along your path to grab for a while. and/or just drop one of the heralds. I'm running AA and hatred atm. hatred a bit of a holdover from previous attempts. I am not sure which aura is best with MS yet, given you can't stack mana reserved as much in the OP. you could bloodmagic your MS of course. Golem. I'm also running ICE atm. again, holdover from previous build attempt. Chaos seems like the must have.
