Molten,Static and Cyclone are the only viable 2h skills. Heavy strike is garbage and everything else isn't worth mentioning unless you're mace/staff. Ground slam and Glacial hammer are slept on skills that have tons of potential if someone good with either of these 2 weapons optimized them.

This is true even with Multistrike your aps will be lower as axe. Axe has a slight range advantage and general base damage (unless comparing to a Vaal greatsword) is higher depending on your axe compared to your average sword. Though the trade off is you'll have to take tons of IAS off the tree and gear to compensate.

Ive seen a lot of new pvpers complaining about things as stun/cyclone/tornado shot and others about less used skills and passives. Stun : I cant see why there are so many asking for stun nerfs when there are way too many ways to counter it, Chayula/US/Cyclone offer complete stun immunity, Dodge/Block plus block recovery/Heart of Oak/Leo's Stun avoidance mod all offer a solid way to avoid stun. At the moment i cant think of any build that needs that kind of investment as stunners that is countered by so many things. Stun is very fine as it is and certainly in no need of a nerf.

Cyclone : i said it before the pvp update went live that cyclone offers way too much utility for the dmg it provides, and now its mandatory for every melee build. As hissnail also said - and its actually very close to the truth - a 5l heavy strike provides more or less the same dmg output as a non-linked cyclone which is ridiculous. An additional pvp dmg effectiveness should be added for cyclone.

Molten Strike : Dmg output vs melee characters is over the top. Damage-wise it outshines even cyclone, and that says a lot on its own.

Tornado Shot : The nerf on tornado was ok and really made it much easier to play against it. The problem with tornado shot is not the skill itself but i think the +1 arrow corrupted mod on bows/quivers that skyrocket TS dps. A further nerf will certainly be welcomed but not necessary on tornado shot. On the other hand the suggestion from Dissolator is really awesome

Point Blank : The gem is really, really OP for physical attack traps and should definately be reworked/tweaked. My initial thought was to make it require 31lvl thus completely removing it from LLD but thats kinda harsh. Maybe some dmg rescaling would be ok.

Elemental Equilibrium : EE is a completely un-counterable passive ability, making it strong for builds that can utilize it (specifically summoners and in team matches supporting characters). We can counter curses with curse immunity pots, but EE persists until its duration ends. There are enough ways to tweak EE : making it removable with curse immunity pots (yes i know its not a curse), reduce its duration to 3seconds for pvp, reduced the value from -50% to -30% or something.

Melee trigger gems : The fact that 1h+shield builds can utilize them all seems like overkill. Add an additional cooldown when using more than one or use the higher cooldown of them (in that case vengeance i think) or add some other kind of restriction. Currently fighting vs shield builds seems impossible.

Minion Instability : Another un-counterable, damage providing ability. I dont know why it hasnt been addressed yet. The dmg provided by the explosion alone is above average, unblockable and undodgable. There is literally nothing you can do when you are melee vs that dmg. On top of that summoners tend to be using spells, curses and elemental equilibrium that synergises way to good with it.



Stun, I agree, I don't know why so many people are complaining. It's counter able with gear changes.

Cyclone is way too OP, it's dominating melee vs melee, and it's cancerous.
Because it's viable with only a 4 link, people can 6 link their counter gems, which are also totally broken and OP.

Molten strike dps is way too high against a standing target, It's just mediocre against someone who moves a lot, but flicker and desync always catch up to the runner eventually.

Tornado shot I have no issues with, I think it's in a good place, and if the perfect high end version of the build has +1 arrows then I'm fine with it being pretty strong.

Point blank works very very well with puncture or tornado traps, but mainly I despise it for how overpowered it makes freezing pulse or fireball traps. They shotgun with lmp, they benefit from trap dmg increase, and they also get a 50% MORE damage bonus from point blank. Ridiculous one shot capability.

EE, no issues with it, with good gear I'm averaging about 115 all resists. I could put gear swaps in my inventory with higher fire or cold or lightning resist for specific builds, which I could swap out after first round of a swiss against a good caster if I needed. EE is totally gear counter able, and I've got no problems with it.

Melee trigger gems, so overpowered. How does a face breaker with 1 aps realistically counterattack at upwards of 3aps, just because I hit fast? I've heard some builds are getting 2-3k on counter trigger gems like riposte. Absurd.

Minion instability is easy, if you're bow - tornado shot them at range. If you're melee, take off multi strike and target the summoner. I never have problems sniping a summoner as melee, and with a bow they're sitting ducks.

Point blank doesnt work with spells (if it does it is an actual bug), it only works with attacks. FP, and Fireball deal high dmg cause of lmp and cold/fire penetration.
