Anyone made the switch to poet's pen with this build? Same class, ascendancy (choices are different but still elementalist) and the tree is pretty close to the arc/teleport PP build I played. Seriously considering starting out with this and then if it kicks butt, great! But to switch to PP later is also great.

A different question- has anyone compared this to the hierophant arc totem build (the most popular one).

So far I've used the arc totem as a starter then got enough currency to go for the poet's build. I'm wondering if this might be a better league starter than arc totem or no. Thoughts?

Has anyone pushed this build to its limits? I have yet to decide a build for the next season and I can't choose between this and a poet's pen arc + lightning ball that someone managed to push up to delve depth 1000 solo.

TLDR: What's is the builds potential compared to Poet's Pen arc.

I got to depth 819, it was possible to push deeper, but I was kinda bored of delve already.
On that depth monster damage is pretty insane, I was dying ~ on every 3rd node :D
For example: you kill a zombie pack, you step on that chaos cloud after its death - you are dead in litearally 1 second. And in betrayal it's gonna be harder because they nerfed inpulsa's.
WOIoIoIoIo got to depth 1000 with this exactly this build, I have some changes in tree and using dual wield instead of shield, but it's not very significant.

You can check rankings and gear on poe.ninja. Apparenty, it's only 2 people that got deeper than 600 with this build.

we don't. That's the point
at 0/0 endurance charges we have permanent onslaught from ahn's shield
