Enki's Arc Witch Memorial Page

I didn't play for something like a year and your build seems to be amazing.
Your guide is top notch, keep on the good work mister !! :)
@Shushei
Yeah Flame Dash is quite nice, the issue is that it can't proc Fortify, which is a major part of our defensive concept. The new build version will use a combination of both Flame Dash and another weapon-specific movement skill.

@adrianoafigueira
It's a decent option if you have no better rare weapon at hand. It used to be the budget option for this build, but has been completely declassed by Cerberus Limb for the same price this league.

@Miimu
Single Target DPS was still a little bit lacking with this build, with the new setup i'm trying to close the gap to say Arc Traps even further. The Ahn's setup is still viable, but it ended up as 15-20% less damage than a dualwield setup with average gear when I ran the numbers.

@MCRide
Lv21 Arc, for the rest i'd recommend to wait for the new setup.

@zJoni & 6r33n
It will be much better even, and that is without even having planned in Storm Brand or new uniques and affixes for now.

@snwkill
Thanks for that table! If you don't# mind, i'd like to link to it in the Leveling Section, should make it much easier for people to follow what Arcane Surge level they need.

@saxisa
Don't have any personal experience with those builds, judging by some videos a PP Arc Elementalist isn't exactly stronger than this setup, so it comes down to which movement concept you prefer more.

@mythvglez
See above, shouldn't be a big difference and the 3.5 setup even gains a significant amount of damage. I personally didn't bother delving deeper than ~600 cuz I saw no real point and no fair competition against certain builds, but blg_RealiZe and WoIo have shown that it's possible to solo much further.

@buyweeed
Don't think it's supposed to be able to damage you. Are you sure it's not bubbles from a Shaper-influenced map? Either way, just lure them to a safe spot and pop them there.

Thanks everyone for the kind words! I'm done with everything for today and can finally start updating the guide. Don't have that much to rewrite this time but knowing myself, i'll probably get distracted about a million times so it may take a few hours.

I've decided not to go with Storm Brand for now, but will leave it as an option. I just don't wanna push anything untested into the build that may end up not as good as expected.

How does this variant of arc stand up against T16 elder maps? Trying to sustain and running exclusively t16 with hard mods?
I did have self cast arc inquisitor in delve at one point (really good items, headhunter), but as I tried to sustain t16, i ran it with 4 sextants, lot of corrupted, just hard maps. And overall squishiness of typical mom caster build was causing problems. Once every few maps you could just die to something.
I also ran ascendant with reave bloodseeker (nerfed because of statsticks now), loreweave, and while clear speed was comparable, this was absolutely night and day in terms of survival. I'm hesitant if I should go this elementalist arc, or look for something tankier, if my main focus is running hard t16.

I was running corrupted t16 all the league (more than 120-130 uber elders kills). Once I got a good gear - I never looked at maps mods anymore. All I cared about was % quantity. But I don't think it's a good idea to farm experience at corrupted t16 with this build, occasional deaths are still possible. I don't think surviveability is very different compare to inquisitor.
maybe this league gonna try dual wield version instead of ahn shield setup
Thank you very much to @blg_RealiZe and @Enki91 for taking your time and answering my question. I'll be running this build for betrayal, I just have to get used (a.k.a git gud) to Shield Bash because last time I tried I kept getting stuck lol
Thank you for your work. Working pretty well.
Thinking about running this build for 3.5 but I am not so sure. I love the concept of self casting ( trap playstyle wears me out), but does this build fair well early game and can it do tier 7 or so without much investment ( starter gear). I was planning to do this or a bv elementalist but I am just wondering. I know you list starting condition's for mapping but I assume you mean white maps and not yellow. ( I hope I am not just forgetting to read something if I did I apologize and just tell me to go back and read :) )

Hey, you removed the part about ahn's heritage and fragility jewels without changing shield charge.
Are you working on it right now ? Will you remove this part and go for a dual dagger instead with wb ?

That’s exactly what I was thinking when I saw the gem. It has slightly more damage innately with the benefits of following the target, but it’s less mana (weaker Arcane Surge) and has a shorter duration (negligible due to recasts for Arcane Surge procs). The biggest difference is OoS is vastly superior in damage when you stack on it.
