Sorry for wall of text trying to justify my pathing and explain the thinking behind my choices..

PS. Forget Armor nodes, they are bad we will not have much base armor ... its like granite flask gonna be our armor source lel or maybe even jade flask if I were to be crit build with maligaro's & rats nest..


Gonna need heavy resistance rares with hp / mp / mp regen / flat ES / % ES / movement speed on shoes.

I will roll something similar to "cow concept" not to struggle to much with itemization at start. See how it goes..


man, im loving to see u guys helping to make this build better, i dont have much time to do it.

about vitality, in last leagues, without the mana res nodes i was able to run the 3 auras + AA without problems, i dont know how its going to be this league, since we dont have patch notes yet.

No idea. But just want to say thank you for this guide! I'm going to try it on torment and am so hyped I find a cool person like you and a guide to follow! Again, thanks! This build and character looks amazing! (If I can request, making a tree for lvl 100 though) as I might reach that level with the new leagues (not even kidding), thank you sir.

I am very happy about it, glad u liked.
but it is done not only for myself, I am very grateful for any suggestions, questions send me, this guide only come this far because of the help of all of you.

and surely I will do a tree to level 100, I'm only waiting for the patch notes out to finalize details.

He makes a case that the mana regen nodes near Scion life wheel and breath of flames might not be too necessary. Also he doesn't seem to like Fire walker too much, but loves Saboteur. Swap them for clever construction, saboteur, and high explosives? Worth picking up every radius node possible?

I think it's hard to tell which is better on paper without actually playing it.

I guess these choices come down to personal preferences. Your build does have way higher life though, which could make a difference in HC.

if u past lv 85 worth going for the trap clusters, but isnt necessary, we dont need that trap dmg, so entropy its better, several changes made for more life and a buff for AA.

I like the high HP. 4% aoe node instead of 10 int node in witch tree. My main problem with just a pure fire trap build is that it will get boring.

I will I am curious what yall think of my tri curse on hit build. I am still working on a few things before I can post it though.

Edit: never mind about the build. I will need insane resis equip to ever get it working.

I will still be doing tri curse on hit but wont be too different from the normal skill build.

Hi all, I made a similar build and would like some feedback. I think if you are to run high level maps survivability is more important compared to damage. Because dying at a high level in SC is a pain and of course in HC it's even worse :3

Flametotem will be used to defend yourself despite it packs a punch. Fast attacking mobs rush to your totem and you just throw a few traps and watch them melt away.

The build:


So the build will be running: Artic armor / Clarity / Discipline / Grace
Gear:


The boots allow dual cursing making your damage skyrocket, if you are lazy like me you can use autohotkey to bind 1 key to curse twice.

I have honestly not used arctic armour / cloak of defiance / MoM before but.... wouldn't running Grace take up loads of mana making the CoD useless?

i think this will be a little better

about the boots, i think using DOEDRE ring for the aditional curse opens a slot for a 20+ ms boots, its better going with a high ms because we need to stay moving around.

I don't think taking the "Celestial Punishment" is worth it. It does not increase your damage over time, it does increase the damage of your second firetrap/flametotem but the damage increase is minor.

Second 110 points = level 90 if you take all the +skill point rewards in the game, so anything beyond that is kinda hard to achieve.

I did test a similar build with MOM taking the passive, it did work for me the only drawback was when you take a large hit and you're out of mana :). So given that artic armor could be a double edged sword unless you'd run an mana flask.
