I think you generally know what you want. I would advise against the Taming since it takes away from a mana regen + life slot.

I am curious tho,atm i am lvl 84,all capped,still got gems to level but i am over 360 mana regen,nearly at 4k mana total and 3.5k hp,my arc is still only around ~6.2k dps but thats because of the bad rolls on rathpith (only 40% spell dmg roll),Doryanis(23% roll) and 83% Doryani's catalyst,also my arc is only lvl 19,and my q20 faster casting is only lvl 13(a fresh flip).

But what i am curious,is Mind over Matter passive really that important? or can i stick with CoD and start looking for a 6s/6l one instead of the 5l? I mean it is extra 10% dmg reduction.

As i said i got nearly 360 mana regen,and my clarity is just lvl 18,i am way above res cap (with ele weakness map mod the only resi that dips below 75 is fire - goes as low as 73) but that's about it.
I would much rather spend those points somewhere else,cast speed (3 nodes right on the path),the ele dmg nodes,or the extra HP,all of which are right there on the way down to scion part of the tree,i still got the marauder part of hp nodes left untouched (the onest below the templar block nodes if i am not wrong)


All in all,if i am res capped,my regen is decent,and my HP can be boosted by diving/buying better accessories,for the life of me i can't see a single reason dropping CoD,nerfing my mana regen (granted,not by much because of the overall mana boost i could get from a decent rolled vaal regalia,which would end up scaling up my total regen) and the most important part - the extra 10% reduction.

And lets also not forget that by default vaal regalia looks like a cheap pajama..

I am just worried that maybe there is a very good reason for dropping CoD no matter what,or that i might drop it,blow who knows how many chaoses or exalts to get a proper vaal regalia,and end up regretting it.

I vouch for this as well. EE maps with the GMP flame totem leads to delicious delicious DPS increase.

My main problem right now is squeezing out enough ES for the CoD setup, since the ES on CoD is pathetic compared to a mid-roll Regalia. I'm running CoD with Aurseize, that leaves pretty much just the helm and boots to cough up more ES->mana. If you do find high ES helm/boots as well as rings with +mana and/or +ES you should be fine.

I'm at level 80 in HC Beyond League now and wondering what passives are the best to grab in the next 5-10 levels. I have not taken the lightning wheel as I went the Heart and Soul route towards EB for extra HP/mana. I have max block and will have max spell block after I get rathpith.

So I could take Lightning Wheel at this point, or?

I could take Ash, Frost and Storm as it's right there, but lightning wheel is probably a better investment.

I could respec out of Heart and Soul and go the lightning wheel route to EB, but I'm a little weary of taking away HP nodes in HC. This would still leave me wondering what nodes to take from 81-90 though.

I could grab Templar's Mana Regen and then back up toward Celestial Walker.

There's a lot of options and I'm relatively new to PoE, so any help is appreciated.

You can use CoD if you really want to and you have the health/resists to support it. Using it has its pros and cons, and you seem to be very attached to the pros.

The lightning wheel always beats the Ash, frost, and storm wheel.

The scion life nodes are your best option for HC, if you haven't already finished that.

Thanks for the advice, I'll try to respec toward the lightning wheel I think and finish Scion life nodes.

Would anyone post a high level build (poebuilder)? (85+). It'd be nice to have an example, even if I'm not doing the exact same thing.

I'm in the same boat as you, lvl82 beyond and wondering what to do. Since I hate running discipline and needed more hp/mana regen, I also went for Heart and Soul.
Didn't take unwavering stance because I rarely get stunned, and mostly play in parties anyway. But getting this is still open for debate hehe...
Basically, I got all the life nodes that are on the way and routed to Heart and Soul via a different path. I may respec and get the lightning wheel though, as I feel I need a bit more dps. Not dropping any HP nodes though, 4500 is the minimum for high maps in my opinion.
