I was playing Nemesis back then (lvl 89) and got kicked out of grps because of my lacking dps, even though my gear wasnt that bad, just my build wasnt a super common one. I dont want to experience that again.

I didnt take Tempest Shield damage into consideration, is that also a significant source of damage?

I'm running your build and it's doing ok for me so far with sub-par gear but I not only do not run Clarity, but I also do not have mana leech and to top it off I was running Haste and Wrath at once which consumed 92% of my mana and I could cast Arc non-stop without running out of mana. Granted I'm only lvl 64 and only at around 3200 dps but it's been viable. It's still no map clearer like my crit-split scion but it's pretty close.

I have recently switched it up and added tempest shield (without mana leech), got rid of wrath, added clarity (but do not feel I need it), and still run haste with no mana issues. Lightning Ball only does 690 damage so I'm not sure I see the use/need in this spell as you have listed? I've added Chain to Lightning Ball in case the lightning drops vulnerability but other than that I don't see the need/use for this spell and some clarification would be nice since I'm still a noob to this game.

I've added a Decoy Totem for survivability, and have Conductivity running with Cast when Damage Taken.

Been trying this out after my 67 RIP'd the other day. and i have to say it's been going very well. Even without too many of the block nodes yet (only level 40ish).

Couple of questions though. I'm doing your EB/MOM version (bc I want more defence in MOM and AA) but I'm playing mostly self-found/self-crafted (not that I have a problem with trading Im just really really lazy). Im going to forgo the dual cursing and Rathpith because they're out of my price range at the moment. Instead Im using a Crest of Perandus. How do you think this will work out late-game? Also is there a reason you chose to use a Flame Totem? You said it's to keep the elements diverse. But why? We pick up Lightning damage nodes but hardly any elemental damage nodes and no fire damage at all. Wouldnt a lightning skill like an Arc totem scale better?

Well I'm starting to have some real fun with the build. The levelling process was really smooth, I didn't really hit any sort of wall, but now I'm in the late 70s and I have MoM/EB/decent levels of AA and TS I'm having a blast. Zana made me hunt some corrupted tentacle miscreations with multiple projectiles. They suicided to TS, I wasn't even attacking them. Same goes for Harbinger (cells map boss), he killed himself pretty fast. Oh and my block chance isn't even capped yet. DPS isn't opieop but like you say in the main post, it's enough, specially with double curses.

Saffell's was a drop I got on this same character <3. I'll 6S5L my chest as soon as I build up some currency back and I have an almost-level2 empower to put on the new link. I should have been using a Geofri's but I didn't feel like buying one. I'm also running HoI instead of haste because I don't want to struggle with dex requirement. The extra damage is welcome and it applies to TS too.

I know I'll hit a wall eventually, but that wall is not today, and it's allowing me to run the lower content VERY fast. How does Vaal Spark vs Vaal Storm Call compare? I can't find a Vaal Spark for the life of me (spent hours farming), and I'm starting to hit the point where I need to incorporate a boss/tough rare kill spell, especially with curse immune ones. Just wondering if I should push for that Vaal Spark since I'll want to level it up ASAP.

Also haven't been able to find a dual curse unique yet, so do you believe it's worth the six skill points for Whispers of Doom? I'll most likely use Ele Weakness + Conductivity.

I appreciate the good mix of defense + offense this build has. Even though I'm playing SC I haven't died yet. Here's my current SF gear:

No. Just make a super expensive low-life Shav build. Trade those in for a Shav and do a better build. Or, do a tanky discharge/arc mjolnir build.
