[2.2] Guide for Life based Crit Dagger Reave
looks cool but why not go for alira on merc for the +1 power charge since we get crit multiplier from it?

Hey, thanks for the guide and build it is super fun to play even while leveling, I am enjoying it a lot. I am confused though by one particular in the guide. When discussing the weapons you state how VP makes Binos useless due to the Instant life leach and negation of Life regen but it doesn't appear that you are taking VP in your skill tree. So I am confused because if VP isn't being used I am wondering why you are mentioning that it negates Binos. Am i Missing something that states I should be using VP and a different skill tree than whats linked in the guide? Or are you mentioning this simply for people who choose to deviate slightly from your build and get VP in some way shape or form? Clarification on this would be much appreciated. Thanks

" To be honest this confuses me as well. OP, You write that in 2.1 Bino's is much weaker because of VP but in the end you write that this build doesn't use VP anymore. Also you write that in temp leagues you probably can't avoid using Bino's due to low supply of good crit daggers and in the same sentence you write that a rare dagger will give you more value for money. Hey, first time playing the build past 50 and just looking for some general advice. I'm currently 72 and farming out at dried lake for the time being. My gear is okay for now but I was wondering what I should be looking for as far as upgrades before I do some trading.
I was lucky enough to find a binos but aside from that everything is up to be replaced. As of right now, my res are pretty bad and I'm using my buddies 5l tabula. As far as gear goes, should I all in for a belly of the beast/deaths hand or look to get decent rares for the rest of my slots. On the topic of rares, would you recommend evasion pieces or armor/evasion with maxhp+dual res? Also, on a 5L what would you say are the top5 for reave? reave + multi + incphys + x + y? Hm. In the description of dualwield, reale just uses daggers, claws and swords. Maybe this is already changed, but if this is right, the offhand dmg With a mace is 0.
So unholy might is good, but huge nerf. By the way, the dmg increase with phys to lightning much bigger than crit multiplier gem. So for 6 link i think strongest Supports are Multi, aoe, phys, ptlightning, ele dmg With waepons. It depends of the multiplier Pool of your gear and passivs. If you have just 200, then the increase of 120 by the gem is important. The more you have the less is this gem usefull in comperation with the pure dmg that gets multiplied. Aaand: no more l-damage in gear needed. Its a must have because of the permashock mechanic of high and fast crit builds. 50% more dmg you never want to miss. Pcoc is useless since assassin. |

" Correct, offhand damage with mace is 0. I understand you mean that unholy might is a nerf compared to wielding two daggers? When wielding two daggers you don't attack twice as fast, your attack speed is an average of both daggers' APS. So if you're wielding two Bino's (for sake of simplicity let's assume both Bino's have identical APS and DPS) you're not dealing twice the damage, in fact you're doing the exact same damage as with a single Bino's and a white mace in offhand, which doesn't swing and doesn't offer any global bonuses. Hence a "special" mace or scepter in offhand is superior since it offers its unique mod on top of the dagger DPS. Shavronne wrapped Kaom's waist,

I just thought the dmg from main and offhand is additive if i dualwield.. if not all my thoughts have to be reworked;)
So the phys dmg is just made by the better dagger/sword/claw and the other hand dmg is 0? So what about crit chance? Can i have one high dmg dagger and one high crit? Would be brightbeak a good choice because of the attack speed and leapslaming? maybe in reaquip my death hand tomorrow ;) the dualwield thing is complicated and the explanation on poe-wiki is almost useless. |

I am certain that there is a good reason for it, but I am a bit curious about it none the less.
This is a crit dagger build, yet Leap Slam is build in as a Opening/finisher move. It requires either an axe, mace, sword or staff? Those four weapon types usually have lower crit chance and are slower in speed? Would that not take a way from the possible damage potential? Do not get me wrong, I am enjoying this build since I switched to it. And yeah I know I could try something else, but as I mentioned ... I am just a bit curious about the Leap Slam choice. :) |

" The Death's Hand is a mace, so you can use leap slam. It's mainly to jump over ledges and shit like that, which whirling blades can't do. at least thats what I use it for haha. nice build, im worried about survivability tho, using a 5l belly, dps is fine with only lv16 gems im at 55k dps buffed, only 3.2k life tho. i do have some life nodes left to pick up, but i probably wont have more than 4.5k |
