am i missing some underlying concept here? is there no buff duration passives for keeping immortal call at at least 10 seconds? to allow for enough time refresh it?

" The old tree has buff duration nodes that are different nodes to the ones on the 1.2.0 tree. Skill duration nodes didn't improve IC back then AFAIK but I'll still test the new nodes when the update happens. Immortal Call is a buff though, so I am hesitant to agree but I'm more than willing to find out for you. I'll let you know how it goes. Okay, let us know once you find out regarding IC please. Also, kinda sucks that they're nerfing blind, may need to look into alternate sources of physical mitigation (that spear thrower during split phase will be even worse now).

Fixed a miscalculation with the interaction between shield% nodes and our total increased energy shield. The accurate result is now that the higher ES tree gives us 13k and the newest block tree maintains 11k+ since Saffell's was barely effected by my mistake. I'm rather surprised I wasn't called out on it sooner but there we go, sorry if I confused anyone. :(
At least I now have no doubts which tree I'll go for when the patch drops. I thought that the bonus energy shield you gain from increased shield ES nodes is multiplied by our increased global energy shield nodes in our tree. Of course that makes no sense since "increased" is always additive with other "increases" and you use the sum of that value to multiply the base values. I derped. If using Stone of Laz how do you plan to avoid stun when farming Atziri?

"If you mean the final Atziri fight specifically, then Blind covers the spear thrower for the most part, I expect not to get stunned by physical damage and if I do then chances are that life builds also get stunned just as often. Stuns are not a big part of that fight. Elemental damage is mitigated through flask nodes and blocking, the block animation rarely occurs and the shield recovery nodes minimise this anyway. For the other fights, I Immortal Call the Trio and use Arctic Armour to deal with the minions that spawn. Vaals are almost completely elemntal based so you block and have resists to deal with their rapid, small hits that come from lightning balls and flask anything that worries you. Vaal smashes do not matter since you should be using Immortal Call if you are standing close by. I've never had problems with stuns during Atziri unless you are outside and on your way there, which in that case you also should use Immortal Call/Blind for added safety. I've farmed them several times using a 3k life MoM build that gets stunned easily much like CI and for the most part it is not a problem. :) IGN: SlightRedeye

hey i am new in this game and have a simple question for the professionals:
i am in between this build and another one: the other one is using flameblast but ive heard that is not good any more. with this build i wonder why we have fire, but dont use any fire or burning skills from the passive skill tree .. there is so much dmg more , isnt there? ^^ |

" I'm not sure what you mean. Flameblast builds are still good, if you have started one there isn't a reason why you shouldn't finish. Incinerate doesn't have burning damage because we don't ignite, the damage that comes from the skill itself is strong without much node investment. Keep at your current build is my advice and continue learning more about the game, the questions you have will eventually answer themselves as you try different parts of the game and understand them better.
