1.1.0 Incinerate Atziri Farmer
" I'm in the process of trying this build on one of my defeault league characters at the moment, the build is a bit all over the place in the guide and it needs cleaning up. HC is definitely possible, my last Incinerate Atziri Farmer build was intended for the 1MHC race a while ago, I died in merciless and decided to continue the build in standard and write a guide. The same is likely going to happen with this CI build when I get around to it, hopefully without the dying. The answer is yes, but a lot more effort is going to be put in to make the build better and less gear intensive. Currently the barrier to entry and farm Atziri is absurdly high from requiring CI gear and several uniques. IGN: SlightRedeye (GMT + 0:00) Last edited by SlightRedeye#1935 on Aug 20, 2014, 9:56:28 PM

" I just tested this ingame and the answer is YES. I get 11 seconds of IC in my setup. It sucks though, Lightning Warp is effected greatly and running became faster than warping around. For farming Atziri you want these nodes. For farming maps you do not. The old buff effect nodes never did this and now we know why. Skill effect effects skills. Derp. IGN: SlightRedeye

Hiya redeye, your build was the last build i made in standard pre patch 1.2 and have decided to go with the build now in 1.2. i have so many good impressions on this build, i dont know if i could write them all. So to give back the favor, im deciding i could help you build up this char all over again and ill be documenting my whole stay in rampage building up this roll (together with what gems to take, what nodes to prioritize first upon reaching a certain act).
well, to my dismay i do not have the offline passive skill tree (cause it comes up with an error upon launching the app, which i dont know how to fix) and i had to wait for 1.2 to become live and check out the new passive tree here in the website. this is my passive skill tree which i had envisioned what youre skill tree from the past would/could look like, based from all the passive nodes you had. so right now, though i have limited resources on how i could actually compare the tree from before to what i theory crafted now, i hope you get to review it and give some feedbacks, tweaks, and tips on how we could improve the tree as the league progresses. thanks and more power to your build bro! 100 points passive skill tree

@iskayfleyks
Thank you for the kind gesture, it's nice that you like the old build. If you want to share your experiences on this thread then go ahead, there is no harm in that at all. The build I'm going to be working on might be a while though, with the changes to resists and block nodes the build will likely take a whole new direction, take on some newer uniques and become entirely different. If you want to put the effort into trying to make the older build work in 1.2.0 then go ahead that's great. It won't be as effective in my opinion so it looks like I'm back at square one for the time being. good luck. @MrZimz I can't really say what is best for you since you are following an idea which worked in the 1.1.0 patch and your build path is practically your creation. I would take the normal difficulty Oak reward of +40hp though, you can't go wrong with it if you are life based. I can't say much about your passives either, scaling Incinerate in 1.2.0 costs too many points in my opinion that could be used elsewhere. Go ahead and create your own idea of what the build should be, my idea should be posted in the thread later on. Have fun. IGN: SlightRedeye

Progress update added, still working on fleshing out guide so it isn't a big wall of text.
I will format the thread properly when the writing is over. IGN: SlightRedeye

Could you include the CI-version tree?
Assuming i would use Saffell's and The Dark Seer :) Thx a lot for this nice build! :) |

" This is what I have my witch specced into right now, it still needs some improvement and testing but I'll give you the tree if you like. If you have a legacy Saffell's or even very high rainbowstride/80% Saffell's Frame rolls you could lose one or two block nodes. The build hinges on getting enough mana to comfortably cast skills, currently I have 56 unreserved mana to cast everything, which is enough but I would like atleast 150~ to cast with. Fortunately you can get away with having no mana pool since Incinerate is almost like having mana degen from rapid, small casts. It's 11k ES with an ES shield and 9k with Saffell's. Eye of Chayula can be used when you need it or are just farming maps, Lazhwar just caps spellblock for you. Level 23 purities are needed to make use of the 80% aura increases, drop some nodes if you don't have them or want more unreserved mana and use level 20 gems. Strength is important since you need ~145+ for enduring cry/immortal call gems, spec into it and lose ES if you need to. With a Dark Seer I would take Warlords Mark for more leeching, Doryani's Invitation won't be enough to out sustain in some cases I would think. The extra gem can be used for another added damage gem, empower, fire penetration or life leech maybe. Faster Projectiles seems unnecessary with already having 60% from gem/tree. http://www.pathofexile.com/passive-skill-tree/AAAAAgMA37DfioIQ6QIHpUuuAuMbJUmy2VssnG0ZEVA1uacrHU8tH0yzRX4rDQQHDlxCS-vkHwJq-oXFXyo2xd--2CSLeqcIAW-PRriTna7i9x0U6-7nC4RI-tIo-idhXGtmnhcvV8kG6cNtwBpk54bRDXzzvpBVVdYksOq6gKS0DJMnRnEc3IMJ4Yh_xm-eHarBxcpKLL_sGMM6hq6P-nC7m7UV1_DV0NDZExmKVmNJUUcGL28tg_sJ2-eXBvbatMVfasSiGo8egUuN_xyCx_noDH0Qf8ae74j5N9fPSbE= IGN: SlightRedeye (GMT + 0:00) Last edited by SlightRedeye#1935 on Aug 22, 2014, 11:43:03 AM

will 1% of fire dmg leeched as life mandatory to take from master ?
|
|
" Not mandatory. I'm not all that familiar with all of the master rewards but if that is easily obtainable for you then go for it. You have other options such as the Warlord's Mark curse, Doryani's/Cybil's Paw and even the new Dark Seer item to replace Blind with a quality Life Leech gem. Keep in mind half of your damage is lightning or chaos. IGN: SlightRedeye (GMT + 0:00) Last edited by SlightRedeye#1935 on Aug 22, 2014, 3:59:04 PM
