Yeah, I was also thinking of ditching Inc AoE on curses and putting vaal discipline there.

As for AoE gem - it is pretty necessary. I've been playing the EB MoM AA version of this build, and you really need the aoe gem because otherwise it covers nothing.

It's funny, so many disparate opinions coming from people: on the one hand, take more AoE nodes pls, on the other, myb ditch AoE gem; not enough defense, not enough damage; not enough mana, not enough life... Getting a lot of input from all sides, gonna have to take a rest :D

Haha I feel you, especially hard since we can't actually test lots of this stuff. I figured AOE would be pretty important but I haven't actually played with it yet so I wasn't sure. I think people actually underestimate how important it is TBH.

For new league its a bad build to start as it needs 5 uniques

I came up with life version but its not as efficient as es

First of all, that's only for the EB MoM build, secondly, that's not true, only 1 unique is required, and that's cloak of defiance, other items are BiS, but not required.

BL without aoe is pointless. No matter how youd try my kb+aoe setup will beat it in clear speed.

I saw people qith 7link (pledge) setups clearing 67 maps slower than i do 74 with 5link

Bl without aoe is shocking concept.. this skill is scaled with number of hits per ball MUCH better than with cast speed. Initial two hits -> six hits with aoe or -> seven-eight with aoe+kb is WAY MORE dmg than what one can get via echo/fc

Unless people understand that this spell WORKS DIFFERENTLY theyll create dud spitters.. (crit/nocrit - it applies to both versions..)

You scale firestorm and fireball differently. Why people cant stop thinking about BL in the 'old ways'?

actualy i updated my test build 2day from 62% inc aoe into 114% and clear speed deceased by half.

but this stuff led ggg to buffing skill that didnt need it! it was players that desperately tried and tried (And failed) to use old methods that 'worked before' to scale a spell that does work differently..

this results in BL that will be a FoTM of next 3 month leagues and be nerfed harshly soon afterwards

this is why i cringe looking at people that try to do with this spell that is comparable to taking a bath in full plate mail.. it wont end in a success

I'm trying to figure it out, but how does this build handle reflect? I don't see traps or anything being used.
