[1.2.] Serge's Ultimate Ball Lightning (3 Versions: EB-MoM-AA / hybrid HP-ES Crit / CI Crit!)

I did try Atziri - double Vaal was super easy, you kill them fast, trio was quite hard, I ripped once, but when I cam to Atziri, I couldn't get past her split phase. I tried her only once, though, and when I get to level 94, I'll try her again. Imo, it is doable if you are careful enough. Also, one thing I didn't expect: with 0 armour, those spears hit like a truck :D so bring a granite if you're CI and have 0 armour. The biggest problem is sustaining. I think it might be necessary to use life leech gem for atziri, cause otherwise, the split phase seems pretty impossible.

Reached level 94 with the CI crit version of the build in rampage, retired the char now. It was a lot of fun :)

In regard of these spears it is very similar for low defence ES casters, if you do not leech then you should kill her before she kills you.

There may be another workaround, to use the new warlords mark. Maybe in dual curse setup with Windscream boots. Assasins mark + warlords mark + granite flask of warding. It might even be interesting to use that in a build on a permanent basis but I do not feel very motivated to play POE atm to try and test it out.

Yes, that might be one way to do it. It is definitely doable, it just isn't as easy as with life based builds which have high regen (RF) or high leech. And ofc, all life based builds can use insta recovery pots, which we do not have.

Thank you for the great build. I've been following the EB/MoM variation and I'm at lvl 80 now. Got no problem so far, and a lot of fun.

One quick question, if I only have 20 GCP, which gem do you suggest I invest in to get a 20%?
Right now some candidates I'm considering:
BL, Spell Echo, Lightning Pen., Faster Casting

If you have only 20 GCPs, I'd suggest using the vendor recipe for lvl1/q20 gems on everything except BL, then use your remainder GCPs on BL. :)
