I don't think you guys realise.. snapshotting doesn't even matter. You lose two auras. Big deal, so I only annihilate Uber Atziri 80% as fast :/ It's more the pain in the ass of rejiggling the setup/capping res.

But like OP said, show us if you can a life base setup w/o having spend +500 exalts on gear. Show us a setup of around 100-200 exa

Shavs is 100, CoE is 35, Malis are dirt cheap, Corrupted Lioneyes maybe cost 5 ex to craft, Dagger is 10 ex, Shield is 10 ex, Jewellery all together is 15 maybe, Light Doryani is 3. 178 ex in total. Gems I assume you level.

Less than 200 to do Uber, does that meet the requirement?

Besides, since Tommie has posted his success, I'm checking out his gear - life-based 2h Cycloner, the majority is in Kaom's and the mirrored 2h.

You can get Kaom's for 30, 2h doesn't have to be mirrored - let's say we get a 600+ pDPS one for 50 ex? Let's say jewellery is 20-30 ex in total. That's even less - about 100 ex, depends if he needs Legacy Kaoms to do the fight.

Yep, gonna agree with you there. Want to be OP in this game? You know how to do it.

Problem imho, is less the fact the CoE-Shavs make you OP, it's literally the only top tier gearing strategy - crit or non-crit. Thinking about the RF-CoE Soul Taker Cycloners with about 150k DPS here.

Life-based 2H Cycloner is awesome and I love what Tommie has done but equip a dagger and cyclone and we can quadruple your DPS :)

When the ultra-endgame is singular, I think that is when people like to QQ. I'm all for CoE-Shavs, I think it's a good mechanic but there needs to be more diversity. Nowhere else do you get those kind of multipliers stacked together.

There needs to be ultra-endgame for life. Right now, ultra-endgame for life is called ES. Fuck you life. I don't believe that GGG intended for ES to be the endgame for Life, especially as the classes such as Duelist have such a disadvantage in that region.

I realise to enable this, GGG will probably need to shit on current builds/create a life-based unique that competes with CoE - but remember when Shavs came out? That's what GGG did back there.

When I first made this thread, I wanted to know if any melee has been any to kill Uber Atziri - whether if it's pure life, low life or CI. It didn't matter if it was 300 ex worth in gear, 10 ex worth in gear or even self-found. No one had it done until now and after 3 3/4 months, it has finally been done by JakeAlmighty.

Now that has finally been done, you can go into specifics now:

- Can a pure life build kill her? What's the minimum amount of HP you need to survive?
- Can a CI build kill her? What's the minimum amount of ES you need to survive?
- Can you kill her with a 25 ex budget? 50 ex budget? 100 ex budget? etc.
- Is 75/65 block even a good thing for this fight?
- What attacks works best against her?
- What's the minimum DPS you need for the whole fight? Splash and single target.
- Can you simply single target her down rather than switch to melee splash for add phase? (This was stated by a GGG member some time ago)

And the list can go on.

I personally haven't been attempting Uber at all (I don't like buying 35 ex Mortal Hopes on Ambush and end up failing the whole run. Also I'm 43/44 7/8 challenges completed - trying to get Atziri's Disfavour but I'm losing patience on getting Mortal Hopes to drop) but so far, I'm still at 25k splash and 41k single target. I can take out normal Atziri easy with some issues on max resistances but that still isn't viable against Uber Atziri.
