[OUTDATED] Zivko's WoE + BoR build - Seems like the build is dead

Hey guys, I'm really really struggling to hit my max resistances. Can anyone help me out? Currently level 67

Took <=10 times through Vorici's "at least one blue" option to roll a RRRB BoR for the cleave option, so about 32-40 chromes total.

I tried Vorici's "at least one blue" option and gave up after spending 50-60 chromes and than used up all Chrom trying to get BRRR and got 2R2G so was forced to use LS and than couldn't kill Map Boss Marveil because of her ele res (and vuln map curse) so I decided to try again with 6 Chrom I farmed up till then and voila 1st try and success. I HATE this game RNG.

Try running purity of elements and Hatred and if that is not enough than try taking 3 18% res nodes above Senitinel node. You need a little better rings and belt. Try upgrading belt with another res option either Fire or Lightning whichever you need more.

Zenith, as long as you have selfcast EC + IC, you dont need granite/jade flasks for triboss. Also, i'd recommend avoiding yellow storm calls, those are pure lightning damage but are easy to avoid.
Now that you tried Atziri, i recommend watching Apex video in the first post again to compare it with your experience. If there's things you didn't notice when you watched it the first time, you'll definitely notice them now and improve your performance.

Sidad already wrote a good answer. Replacing purity of lightning with purity of elements would help you cap resistances early on, you can switch to specific purity once you have better gear.

Some questions:

1) Is mana version of build able to kill Atziri without real problems?

2) I have 5 socket 5 link WoE, is it fine of should I make it 6 socket?

1) Both builds are capable of killing Atziri. You just need to dodge big flameblasts to avoid 1 hit, rest of run is easy.

2) If you have 5L WoE, it's best to sell it and then buy some good roll 6S for less currency.

Also question about the build. Isnt Vaal Pact pretty good for this ? I have a 20% Bloodrage and Doryani so all in all 11% lifeleech, i could get more on rings if needed but woulndt a direct heal with this much LL be better ?

Just defeated L78 Palace Dominus for the first time ever using survival model of this build at Lvl 89. Have never even gotten close with any other character.

And I haven't even optimised the build yet as started it before I found this thread based on another one that was doing the rounds. Still sitting on well under 5K life and only 2% life leech.

Died once to his Touch of God and a exploding miscreant I think hitting me simultaenously (or maybe poison on hit which was a map mod) but not a bad effort considering I'm playing on a laptop with a touchpad and two buttons only (no mouse) and its VERY hard to hit flasks. And I'd forgot to use enfeeble on him (have spectral throw with curse on hit as can't use leapslam with the laptop).

Haven't given Atziri a go yet as need to get myself a new desktop before i try that.
