BTW, both builds are great, I would only add life leech nodes (cuz I don't like blood rage) to get around 4% life leech (2 from Blood drinker node and 2 from gear). Those life leech/gain nodes at Maraouder's start are also interesting.

The Blood Drinker is no longer at maradyer's start anymore, it was move near to the shadow's start with the 1.2 patch.

Yes, but it's still close to get (with acro. version) and it now gives nice life %, also there is 3% life leech at marauder's start with some life gain on hit/kill, Lust for Carnage (in line with RT, next to Barbarism).

I would trade some scion life nodes for Blood Drinker. Something like this:

MANA BASE means u don't have to use Blood magic anymore = free 1 slot for another dps gem.

8% mana reserved means that u will have not even 100 mana more. While dual strike requires 100+ mana. How are you going to use a skill if your mana pool is enough just for 1 cast?

Having played the mana version in the 1moSC, I can shed some light on this. Without any + to mana on gear, only a high mana rolled lazhwar and rainbowstride + the mana flows cluster, I was left with around 130 unreserved mana after hatred, PoF, and PoL(only lvl 19 reduced mana though). DS + multistrike + added fire + splash in the BoR costs 66 per attack.

1.2 would lower the cost of skills so the mana version would be a lot easier to do by then. Less min/maxing to do overall. I would say aim for at least 180 unreserved mana and 2% mana leech. Also keep a hybrid flask on your belt for emergencies.

@Ogrec,

Can you help me understand how WoE actually works? as far as, can you equip something in your off-hand? The reason I ask is because in the PoE builder you link on the first page, there is a 2-handed sundering axe in your off-hand to achieve the 34k dps.

I have never used WoE so I have no idea how that works.

Can anyone help me understand?

Also, I've heard the goal is start with WoE and eventually get a soul taker. Can this reasoning also be explained?

You cant equip anything except WoE, but poebuilder does not interpret WoE as dual wield so, to fix the problem, another sundering axe with close to woe dps is created to get a good tooltip.

So what about getting a soul taker? Worth it?

Maybe a soul taker + a high dps phys. 1-h axe?

It would, you'd need to make up for 10% block chance somewhere else. I think it could be worth sacking some spellblock for more dps thou, especially in a tankier version of the build. I'll definitely be testing it on standard after the ptch with ST and another 330pdps axe.

Game with this build since I started playing path of exile, blood rage, I never liked it, since to give the best to get if you had a low standard of living, which meant that if you do not dodge the next shot is die. So I rarely use blood rage, trying to get by with 2% life leech, now that I no longer 2% are obliged to use blood rage, I there a way oil to bypass this?

You can always try to find gear with life leech (gloves and rings). Also there is 3% life leech cluster near marauder area, type Lust for Carnage in search in poebuilder and it will highlight the node for you if you have trouble finding it.
