Its a nice adjustment, it gives a bit more hp and dps.
A bit of a gearing issue is loss of chaos res and 20 int compared to tree in the thread. Something that might be better for other players, but i personally cant respec to that tree. This is the source of my problems: I'm trying to add +1max res lazhwar into the build to increase my defenses. Unfortunately, this means i'm losing 30 int, and don't really have time atm to level to 93 to take the +30 int node. I'm currently only missing another good ~40 int ring to be able to use +1res lazhar so i need one of the sellers to show up online. In combination with this amulet, the tree i've posted is better for me, but will also be better to start the league with because that extra int and chaos res help a lot since you don't need better gear. If, however, you're using uncorrupted lazhwar and have enough int to respec, the tree you linked is definitely better. If you don't mind, i'll include it as a respec option for ppl with more int and res on gear once patch is released and i can update guide with official skill tree links. |

Well started a week ago. And to have high health and max resistances you need much more than 2ex. I spend 4+ex and have only 4k hp and i am 80lvl. Because i need a belt with all those pretty stats including at least one resist or a ring with resistances, but finding a ring with good resistances+health would cost even more. So one of my rings has no health and that makes a game pretty hard. Or i need to spend a month to find all these gear for a low price but think it is not worth it, that's why just spend more.

I don't know if this has been mentioned anytime before the last 3 pages, but have you considered using Warlord's Mark for life leech and a charge or two instead of Blood Rage (or trying to get life leech on all the possible gear)? You could perhaps do a 3L/3L WoE with BM + Faster Attacks + Leap Slam and then CWDT + Enduring Cry + Warlord's.
By the way, I've been using this build for a little while and am currently level 67. I'm definitely loving the build and am planning to use it for the new league, though the one thing I don't like is that it's almost impossible to fit in any MF whatsoever while trying to carefully balance all of the resistances on the four available items. Do you normally play in a party with a culler? Or do you just try to clear maps fast enough that your "magic find" is your clear speed? |

Coming back after not playing for a long time, so I have a question: why you taking so many life-regen nodes? There is no no-regen maps anymore or fast regen greatly improving tank on this build? In the old days, life regen was not too popular choice for universal map-oriented builds.

" Hi ogrec, in response, how to get good dps from Molten Strike with WoE. Link the following gems all leveled to 20/20% on your Poebuilder. Molten Strike + WED + Multistrike + Concentrated Effect for 38K DPS. Conc benefits from 20% quality in this instance since it is a mana based build and the quality on conc provides reduced mana required for skills. Now for the down side, POE does not provide the AOE tooltip damage from Molten Strike, it's still there, but we can't see the numbers.. that being said we don't see the numeric benefit from Conc, but it's there :) POE builder lets us see the actual damage and believe me, you will feel the difference in game as well.. Hope this helps :) all I know is that I don't know anything at all Last edited by g3n3r1c#1548 on Aug 18, 2014, 11:53:34 AM

@kebal
Prices on standard are a lot higher then in challenge leagues. For example that amulet listed in post before yours was bought for 15ex, but same one costs 35-40ex on standard. When you don't have a lot of currency, its best to play challenge leagues since economy is fresh and prices are a lot lower there. You should give new leagues a shot, they start in a couple of days and it will be easier to buy and sell items in those leagues, allowing you to accumulate more currency and maybe try other builds as well. Most players play new leagues exactly for that reason, everyone gets a fresh start and no one has advantage over you in terms of accumulated wealth. There's also a lot more active players in new leagues so you'll have easier time finding leveling and mapping parties there.7 @Jaigoda Remember that Warlord's Mark is a curse, while it does provide 7% life leech against normal mobs, magic, rare and unique monsters have reduced curse effectiveness on them, so that 7% leech can quickly become 2-3% leech on a unique monster/exile making a mob thats already harder then normal mobs even harder to fight as your curse is less effective. In new expansion there's also going to be additional reduction to curse effectiveness forcing you to take some curse nodes if you plan on relaying on curses. With new NPCs being introduced, you might not need to relay on curse or blood rage at all. You'll be able to craft leech on rings, gloves and it seems maybe even belt. @_PBS_ Regen and chaos resistance is mostly needed to be able to outregenerate degeneration from Blood Rage. You can check the skill out here, if you're unfamiliar with it - http://pathofexile.gamepedia.com/Blood_Rage. If you're a solo player and want to do lots of no regen/half regen maps, you can drop regen and Lust for Carnage node cluster near marauder starting area or get life leech on gear. @g3n3r1c I'll just direct ppl interest in molten strike to your thread :P I know the skill is very powerful and use it for leveling myself, but i kind of avoid it cause it feels very random and i think this game has way too much randomness in it as is :D |

Which stats are required on rings besides resistances/health/intelligence/life leech?
And as i understand you need mana leech on rings/gloves if you want to run mana build? Last edited by kebal#2136 on Aug 18, 2014, 12:11:19 PM

You need around 800 mana pool and around 100 mana unreserved to support dual strike with 2%-3% mana leech. Most important stat on the rings are intelligence and resistances, mana leech and +mana if you want to run mana based version of the build. Life and phys damage are commodities that are hard to afford early on.
If you try running skill on mana at lower level, you'll probably need to invest in additional mana nodes on tree, for example, look up 'Arcane chemistry' cluster between Duelist and Scion. I wouldn't suggest trying to run mana based variant in lower then lvl 90 builds, especially early on in the league. Its hard to get a good set of gear in the beginning of the leagues, not because its expensive, but because there's simply no good gear avaiblable then. You can also take a look at how my gear looked like at day 4 of the 1monthSC league, its listed in the first post. Last edited by ogrec#7939 on Aug 18, 2014, 12:27:05 PM

" I read in one the datamined threads that we can get 7-10% additional Chance to Block while Dual Wielding with the cost of a Divine orb through one of the masters, so we can just apply that to the other weapon. I'm honestly considering on trading one of my items for a legacy ST now for when the leagues end, would the loss of 25% Spell Block on WoE make a big difference in terms of survivability?
