Here is my mana leech related data - this is with replacing Acuity with a pare of rare gloves with phys damage.

Mana: 620 (77.5 leech rate) Mana Regen 10.9
Unreserved: 99
Split Arrow: 37
Attacks/Sec 2.6 (.38 attack time)
Phys Damage: 598-1239 (918.5 avg hit)

So with sustained fire I have 96.2 going out and 88.4 coming in, literally over 12 seconds of sustained Split arrow firing which is far more than you would need for it to be smooth. The same calculation for me at some point prior to the patch I think was like 4 seconds and it was working fine.

Also of note, an average non crit would only return 18 mana for .23 seconds of leeching, less time than my next attack, which would cause intermittent leech (this could not be your problem, though, 4% mana leech fixes it). Crits are 7x that for 1.4 seconds obviously way over my firing rate and well into sustained leeching. I crit at 59% so I don't really have continuous non crits which would pose a leech problem if, say, I was trying to run this at around 40% crit chance.

You did not list your mana in order to calculate your leech rate (12.5% of mana) or your mana regen. You do attack considerably faster (what kind of bow are you using?) with a little bit average weaker hit. You have 142 mana per second going out. Assuming your mana numbers were the same as mine, you'd be out in a tad over 2 seconds. Definite danger zone you'd probably need more max mana to support, or slower attacks.

Hi Asidra, I've change my bow last night, i need to rework my gear and "intellect on gear" again.

I had a lioneye's glare and i finally got my real crit bow. So when im finish resetuping my stuff ill wrote back here with feedback.

BTW, i would like to thank you for taking the time to answer people question, it's really appreciated.

See ya
Have fun! And go buy my stuff...

For some reason, I didn't think crit multi was a benchcraft option but I just checked..and it is. You are correct, I'd definitely recommend it over attack speed.

Can someone who has a fully leveled master tell me what the max mod is for crit multi, and what level the master has to be.
22-27% increased Global Critical Strike Multiplier, which is the max according to the wiki, is available at lvl 6.

Sidra's Advice on Increasing my crummy DPS
Spoiler
1.) Get physical rolls on your rings, added bonus if they are Diamond Rings. For ultra budget both of your rings have a prefix left just benchcraft it on.
2.) Get at least 2 of: Physical damage, crit chance, crit multi on your Amulet
3.) Purchase either a Rat's Nest helm or Maligaros Gloves.
4.) Belt's not listed but should be a Rustic Sash with life and resists
5.) I think your physical projectile gem and frenzy gem are in the wrong spots
6.) Benchcraft attack speed onto you bow
7.) Use some of your next 8 points on DPS - high priority to Heart Seeker and Death Perception

Got one phys ring, got rat's nest, got rustic sash, spent 7 points on heavy draw & heart seeker - worked wonders. Next, Prefer Hired Killer -or- three nodes @ 5% life leading to Path of Warrior?

3x5%. The life on kill in Hired Killer cluster doesn't really matter.

Hi!
got to say, I love this build, just flew by when leveled, and I was doing 75 maps on level 74,

just wanted to make 2 suggestions:
1. with 6L, i think knockback gem works well into this build (replacing LGOH) - nothing big is going to get to you before it dies and its always funny to see those flying goatmen stop in mid-air.
LGOH is only better vs archers and they are not a real issue for this build (as far as I encountered).

2. for the first, low budget phase of the build, I found Doryani's belt to work well (before you can buy a nice life+res one) - it gives strength+tri res+ damage + more leech, and its pretty cheap

those are just my two cents, would love to get your input on knockback

I'm using added fire in my red socket and i find it very powerfull, with flask that recharge on crit i always have a jade up when needed. Ill test knockback for the fun but my gut feeling is to keep more dps with added fire.

For those with mana issu, instead of running grace ans hatred, try grace + herald of ash + herald of ice.

On the tool tip your dps is lower but the overkill ignite does major dmg. Everything melt and it give you a nice chunk or mana available +40 ~ + 50 mana.

Crazy :)

I view knockback as nothing more than a gimmick, really. Not worth a gem slot - especially LGOH. The core tenet of the build is having a enough HP to survive big hits, and then a a way to quickly get those HP back. There are a number of boss fights - Crematorium, Apex double Vaal just to name a few - that are basically trivialized by my ability to almost instantly fill my HP back up after taking a hit by firing a volley or two into the trash. LGOH and Chain have very high synergy, and we haven't even talked about reflect, which it somewhat helps with as well.

The only reason I do not have LGOH equipped now is that Atziri's Acuity basically turns my life leech into defacto LGOH. And I am considering selling my Acuity and going back to Maligaros/LGOH.

There are tons of physical crit builds on the forums now. The high HP and HP sustain are what sets my build apart - as opposed to others that either don't care about defenses or run dodge the hello out of everything like Mathil and Precaso. I, on the otherhand, while firing Split Arrow of Frenzy, can stand still in most situations while firing and am safe. My character is meatier - they are lightning fast. I find it much less stressful gameplay, and it's not possible without LGOH. Both styles done right are very effective at end game. But I think one may encounter some problems if they try a less meaty version of my build, or a less speedy version of theirs. Mine minus LGOH would qualify as less meaty.

Keep in mind - I am speaking in terms of high end game - 76+ hard rolled rare maps, bosses included. Atziri running. If the plan is not to get that high or do those things, some of the smaller decisions matter less.

Interesting build you have there. I also play crit bow, but i am curios as to why you went split arrow as well as have so much health.

My current lvl 85 ranger tree

I recently swapped from split arrow to tornado build with the standard GMP but decided to link CoCS with Ice Spear and Artic Breath. The amount of cc is amazing, you perma freeze everything while running hatred and Herald of ice+ashe. Yes I know I could probably get more DPS using Fireball or arc, but I dont have as much Life ( 3.5k life + 400 ES) as you. Ive been running lvl 78 courtyard map solo since lvl 80 and I dont have Acuity. Instead I use maligaros and for helm a Rats nest. Unfortunately I cant run reflect maps. The puncture crit on phys reflect are too OP then the AoE spell dmg from Ice Spear + Artic Breath are extremely painful in elemental dmg. Otherwise no Issue.

I like the idea of Atziri steps and I have also though of use them instead of rare boots, but unfortunately I have Zero resistances on My Helm and Gloves. But i do get a lot of dmg mitigate from using 2 CWDT. CwDT + IC + EC + curse (3 link so that I can manually use my curse) and CwDT + EC + Molten shell + vaal haste

But I wanted to ask you a few questions;
1) why no drop some life and go more dps nodes since u have acuity
2) how much more effect are the atziri steps vs rare 3 resistance boots since u are take acrobatic
