Self Found Players and Atziri

Are there any self found players that have attempted Atziri yet? And what about Self Found Players in Invasion/HC league? I am curious to your stories. Personally my characters are way too weak for the fight, but then again I haven't invested a lot of time in the game.

I imagine if you invest the entire 4 months to it and work towards a full max resist build it is possible.

cap light resist for first fight.

immortal call for second fight.

cap light/fire for atziri.

The only thing remaining would be the healing phase to be overcome, sort of struggling with that one myself.

(on a side note, most RF builds wouldn't get past this face either if they didn't snapshot there dps increase. And that ain't a jab at snapshotting, it's just reality for that face of the fight)

Masochistic*?

As for the rest, it kind of depends. There are some builds that can do it with just gem levels and a whole lot of dodging. If you get lucky with uniques, RF would be pretty viable while only truly needing a Phoenix and Blood Dance. An ST build that found a fast weapon would be viable without an Alpha's, though you'd lose a purity and a chunk of damage. An ST build base on a strong weapon rather than auras would probably fare better, though the weapon is an issue.

In either case, you're either dependent on finding uniques or finding a damn nice weapon to be able to do her somewhat reliably. Otherwise, hoping skill can let you dodge every Storm Call and Flameblast should make it possible with some pretty solid SF gear. Either way, the likelihood is pretty ass.
i am pretty sure ill go further the next time.i am on a poison arrow build, killed 1 vaal the other one raped me :)
I already got a second set of fragments and i will hell try again. My poison arrow is level 19 since last time in a +2 bow and 4 linked.Dmg can only be better and as far as survivability goes its decent.

Now that i learned second vaal goes on crack once the other is killed, ill do better this time.I consider this whole dungeon as a perfect test to anyone's build.

OFC ambush league and sfl,my playtime got to 1/5 of what i used to play due to irl obligations, but that char has a /played of 5days.So i am pretty happy with it.If anything, ill get to atziri.

I've seen atziris fight but didnt expierienced what is before that,so i am going into uncharted waters and that makes me double happy.
Bye bye desync!
I'd love to do this, unfortunately drop rates being what they are, it's not possible unless you're very good or spend a lot of time building
I play strictly Solo/self-found/HC/BoE. I don't even pretend to think I'll ever see Atziri.
The main issue is dps imo, all the bosses defenses can be overcome by leveling appropriate skills and utilizing flask's atm.

Maybe some kind of sick EHP based dual totem flameblast could manage the atziri phase, but i wonder how it would manage the other fights :D!

second phase could be perma immortal call to counter the trio bosses.

Vaals are ok if you cap purity of lightning at lvl 20 + 50% aura effect. Throw in flask for additional ehp.

And then atziri, imagening a dual flameblast build with purely stacking dps

(totem + flameblast + chaos dps gem + light gem and cold gem, just raw dps with More multipliers)

No clue how that would work out, but this could potentially work in a self-found style since the requirements are purely based on gem levels and not so much on gear.

I'm thinking I'm close to pulling it off, but I've gotten some lucky drops and I'm not confident about the Demons fight yet.

For Atziri, run PoL and PoF at level 20, with EA and some aura effect I get 8% max, add LegSaffell's and +13% max, 88% fire/light res, can be put to 98 or past with flask nodes if need be. On top of that run Bringer, get ~47% spell block. Hopefully taking a fraction of the damage from half the spells that I need to tank will be enough.

Demons I'm less sure of. That character's got pretty poor armor so the degen's gonna hurt even if I can stack enough block and eva to stop most the attacks.

As for 4 months, it's certainly doable considering how quickly the 4 months mowed her down. Trade's got it's advantages but 4 months is a long time if you really want her dead.
