3500 dps or 6000 dps. Both are still low. Was expecting more after paying 5 ex for that freaking doryani weapon. Maybe i should have done more research before attempting this.

Is this the dps you can expect from an endgame setup?

Also what curse are we supposed to use? I just use enfeeble for now.

Sounds like a serious case of user error going on...

First of all why did you drop 5ex for the worst rolled Doryani ever? I would not even pay 2ex for that. You should have researched the rolls of a Doryani. Can you get your money back???

Second why are you still worked on the 6K tool tip? The build is based around projectiles as stated in the guide. If we wanted to run a build that had a good initial hit we would not be using molten strike... The projectiles also do not drop right away but take a second to hit the ground. This in turn will slow down overall clear speed for ANY MS build. I made this relation a while ago:

Something like infernal blow = an assault rifle fires immediately when you pull the trigger and does some good damage.

Molten Strike = a Gatling gun... takes a second to charge up but once it gets moving it is kind of like that scene in predator...

I am not really sure why you are having issues with your damage, i am steam rolling just fine at 80 in group maps. Maybe drop your enfeeble for flammability? With lightning coil and capped resists you should have no problem tanking trash without enfeeble. Cant argue with people using this build to farm Atziri either.

Ever thought MS might not fit your play style?

Arsenaldo,

Thank you for taking the time to give me the write up :) For everyone else Arsenaldo has been running MS and farming Aritzi. He has been able to provide some much much needed feedback about the last phase of the game. Many of his gear changes should be apparent to any Atziri farmer, such as dropping three dragons and lightning coil (you do not need these vs Atziri). They are still great options till then.

What I have been very pleased with is while spending some time in game, Arsenaldo had informed me that running Doryani's + Doryani's Invitation provides enough leech to sustain the build. I have been hording some currency for my Flame Surge build but may need to drop some of it to pick up Doryani's Invitation myself.

Arsenaldo thank you again for the write up. I look forward to discussing with you about your experience pushing level 100. I know for me I probably wont take mine much higher then mid 80's as I will wait for the new league and push it to 100 then when I have more time to enjoy me accomplishment.

@Arsenaldo: I would recommend running Doryani's Catalyst regardless of whether you run AoF or not, it's simply amazing for this build. (unless you get an insane 1h GG rare like 400+ pDPS)

yeah u are right, Doryani'Catalyst would fit for many builds, ofc great for both with/without Aof, amazing gear. I should have stated more clear that it is the gg phy weapon.

Can someone who is also using doryaini sceptre show what their tooltip dps is?
Interested in 4-links, 5 links and 6 links. Using a 5 link lightning coil myself.

Also now that i think about it. Flammability would be a good curse. But temporal chains might be even better because it increases shock duration from what i understand.

Here is the tooltip for Molten Strike w/ Hatred

Yeah yeah bash me for my bad doryani. I think it was actually 4 exa i payed for it now that i think about it because 5 exa was the cheapest i could find on poe xyz and i saw it had quite low rolls so i offered 4 exa for it.

Maybe it's cheaper on some other league but not on standard where i play. And i did ask in this thread if the rolls on doryani matter much and got the impression from some reply from a guy that he didn't even bother checking the stats on his so i just bought the first i could find.

And i'm only mention the tooltip dps because it's all i got to compare with others. I have tried clearing some 71 maps and it takes forever to kill stuff. Expecially monsters that are ele resistant which is a large amount of the monsters you fight in path of exile.

I already have a lvl 90 facebreaker using infernal blow. Wanna try this new molten strike gem they added in a recent patch now. Not about playstyles obviously i already mentioned many times now that i don't kill fast enough to progress. Need help to figure out why.

Regarding the curse. I chose enfeeble for the HARD stuff to be as resilent as possible because from what i read with everyone killing aziri and stuff sounded like the damage output was great. Didnd't think i would need flammability? So is this what people use then?

There was no mention about curses to go along with molten shell here.

Gonna try level up my gems more. Was gonna purchase a lvl 20 molten strike but sadly there isn't ANY for sale so i had to start with a lvl 1 one.

Still looking for advice what to improve. Let me know via pm or here if anyone can help me =)
Thx

Recently just hit 92, and I’ve been farm Atziri by this molten strike build since I 6L my high life STR based armour, I’d like to share few opinions. If I’m wrong please have your advice and correct me.

This build has 2 directions,

1 With AOF, Doryani’s Catalyst+Invitations belt + anger aura + 6L( must be with fire penetration+blood magic)
(lots of good stuff)
Finally Im very happy with this build, thanks for this amazing molten strike build community, and thanks for Kartikdon and Dmillz spend your time with help me the build, great guys :).

This man right here. I am 84 with 3dragons/lioneye's setup. It's very good, don't get me wrong, but what Arsenaldo outlined in his post is exactly what I would do instead if I could.

Hit and run! It's actually a fairly easy fight but you need to be patient.

Hit,run and hide if I may add. Also, use some good flasks too. The right flask at the right time gives 4 to 6 seconds of advantage. It could be a life/armoyr + resists, a topaz flask, even quicksilvers will save your life.
