Heavy Summoner Arc Witch Guide [ Video Included ]
im about level 35 right now and i just am around the general in normal. its a rough fight cuz my minions just get wrecked. also, my mana is horrible.
I have raise zombie with minion life and minion speed (should i replace one of these with minion damage?) -skeletons with totem -raise spectre with minion damage - arc with elemental proliferation - 2 auras (clarity/wrath) this is my biggest issue. it reserves a HUGE chunk of my mana. am i leveling my clarity too much? right now its level 7. | |
" I'm level 40 with mine and she's wrecking faces. I don't know what your gear is, but I'd like to answer a couple of your questions. 1. Yes, Minion Damage and Minion Life before speed 2. Very often you don't want to level Clarity beyond 4 unless you are building out your mana pool to account for the massive loss of overall percentage. a. If you want the very high level Clarity regen, you want to make sure that you have at least enough mana left in your pool to cast Raise Zombie a couple of times 3. I use my totem for Spark instead of Skellies- they are better close to the end-game when they have tons of life from items, and thus blow up for lots of damage (their only real use other than taking up screen real estate so mobs cant get to you). If you aren't using MI, I wouldn't use Skellies at all in a totem. 4. Arc is amazing. Debuffing the whole area with Shock will make your zombie tanks destroy everything, and your Spectre Fireball throwing things will dominate as well. | |
Has anyone played with a Moonsorrow for their wand yet? Would the blind spread only with the arc damage, or with the range of the elemental proliferation?

used some skill refunds to optimize the build a little more at a higher level. Im curious to hear what others are doing.
Im at lvl 75 and I plan on picking up the life nodes again after going after aura area of effect just below the templar tree with the lvls i have left to get. The 2 points of shield recharge delay are pretty useless right at the start of the build, but i find having those 2 points being wasted to get the 8 percent more shield that turns into mana to be better than extra mana from flasks. going through arcane focus would be ideal, but its 1 more point to spend. I also currently need the single 30 dexterity node to use all my gear and gems. eventually i wont need it and will refund that as well. At the end of my build i went around the 2 points of armor / energy shield for one big reason its one less point to get to both the templar life nodes and aura area of effect im running 6 auras, purity, wrath, hatred, anger, clarity, and discipline, leaves me with about 350 mana and enough regen that i dont ever have issues with not having enough to spam arc. with that much elemental damage added to minions i also switched to elemental weakness for my curse, it made a very noticable difference. i'd like to pick up the ring that adds another curse on targets and use conductivity as well. as for moonsorrow, no elemental prolif wont do anything for it, my arc has chain and ele prolif in that wand and i have not noticed blind nearly as much as an entire screen full of shocked dudes. @Dinadoo: Those 20% to ES and Armor nodes you get, do you wear armor with +armor? I only use EShield armor, and that's why I am hesitant to take those nodes as +20% to armor is wasted.
Otherwise I am pretty much in everyone elses spot. 71 with a point to spend and completed the tree in the OP. I take it its not even worth putting any points into +Damage nodes right? I should focus on utility and survivability? | |
Cahuella unless you get a ton of plus damage stuff for arc its not really worthwhile to use any skill points for it. Its just there to debuff things with shock.
I took the 20 percent es armor and 10 resist node since i feel its 2 well spent points for the high es bonus and resists, the armor is just a bonus if you like to use armor / es items. | |
How valuable is quality on your raise zombie gem?

I have a couple of general questions
1) Does wand quality actually effect any stats? 2) how do I link items into these threads? I"m looking at 3 different wands and I don't know which one to use and whether i should get rid of the other 2. 3) At this point in the game I"m almost at general in cruel. My battles typically see me summoning max amount of zombies while flame carpets do the bulk of my damage and i spam arc as mana permits. My health pool is around 700 hp (I use blood magic with wrath) and i only have half my mana available most of the time (fairly highly leveled clarity). Open up your character tab (click your character in top left) and click once on the item you want to link. The script should now be in your post. 3. I would spend the next 10 or so points getting the last minion cluster. Once you connect your tree at the bottom, you can respec those 4 points on the left Witch starting node. |
