im only level 29 or so and I guess my gear is not that crazy although at this point I have raise zombie with minion health-speed and spectre with damage as well as skellies. I have wrath as my only aura.
I do not have a totem for skellies, nor do i have arc (been using a non linked freezing pulse gem)
Its fairly ok, but my clear time has been very slow in act3 normal. especially again'st ranged mobs like the ones that spit poison or snakes, or even just archers. most of the time i find mye just constantly casting skellies on top of ranged mobs because the zombies use too much mana and die before they reach them.
Any pointers on what I should do at this point? should i jsut go to the bulletin board in town to try to trade for a arc>proliferation gem?

I am running my own summoner with arc, so in case no one mentioned it yet, I'd like to add a few things:
Use Arc NOT with chain, its useless, instead, use Arc + Faster Cast + Lightning Penetration + Elemental Proliferation.
This gets whole screens of mobs shocked to the max in no time.
And I would not use skelli totem with faster cast, you will probably have it in a 4L so totem + skelli + minion life + minion dmg
Minion dmg AND minion life both increase the dmg through instability, they multiply each other, whereas more HP will get more meat in the shield, and more dmg is in every case beneficial.
Faster casting on the other hand, will probably end in re-summon your skellis before they can either hit the enemy or explode on them.
I aswell started running a simmilar setup.
Arc + Faster Cast + Elemental Proliferation. (instead of Arc + lighting pen + faster casting) Elemental profileration just spreads shock stacks like wildfire. Ever since i started using my overall damage skyrocketed. For skellies i almost don't use them but i agree faster casting is indeed a bad idea, as they just get resummoned all the time.
im using it on a 3-link because all of my other gear is dedicated to something else.
Btw it is indeed a very good idea to put specters on a 5 link and supporting them with LMP/GMP, Minion damage, Minion speed and life on hit. Have not thought of the 6th link yet. but it will probalby be faster attacks. Anyone got some idea on this?
Also i have to say the OP build has a lot of waisted points here and there, especialy the right side of witch start.

Only issue with this is that LoH doesn't work with spells. So if you have a caster spectre, it won't be gaining anything from that gem. Life leach does work with spells though, so that could be an interesting option for providing them with some much-needed sustainability.

Thanks for the advice. So far i noticed that even alchemists benifit from the life on hit, not from the bombs tough. So ye i think il try swaping that out and see how it works out.

Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't spectre movement speed capped? I thought I remembered seeing that on the tooltip for spectres. If movement speed is capped, linking them with minion speed probably wouldn't have an effect.

Yeah it's capped. Minion Speed helps when you have slow as molasses spectres like the Carrion Queens, but it doesn't really help fast spectres like everyone's favorite: Flame Sentinels.

omg i made this build thinking zombies were gonna get 15k hp late game, level 16 gem and still less than 6k hp

It's still the same, they can get to around 20k maxed (if you have a 20% raise zombie gem). The +2 to minion gems in helm is monumentally important to the health/damage of your zombies, and I'm quite sure you don't have a helm like that if your zombies' health is only 6k. Sidhebreath also helps.

Oh the helm really raises that much? I don't have one yet, i'm focusing on +rarity and quantity
Absolutely! I just popped my level 16 15% zombie gem into a +2 minion helm and they went from about 7k health to well over 11k.
