GGG runs RMT companies, their real source of income. They've created a desirable currency that they have complete control over, allowing them to print money at will all the while maintaining the facade that the game will never be pay to win. It's the perfect scam. You want to know why their is no SFL? The answer is right in front of your eyes.

" 10/10 would read again This thread still going? *popcorn* |

So, how are you filtering people that vote multiple times?

" SurveyMonkey has tools that allow Petrov to check for duplicate IPs, suspicious behaviour, and blocking multiple responses with some simple methods. Of course if someone really wanted to mask a hundred votes, he could, but it doesn't seem to be the case. Over the course of one month 1250 votes were gathered, out of which 67% are in favour, with 19% not in favour and 15% maybe in favour depending on details. That sounds about right. If we were to calculate an average daily amount of votes, it comes out as 42, out of which 28 are in favour, and 14 are maybe/against. The numbers seem alright. You could also count the participants in this thread and see how many are for, how many are against, for another little source of data. I'm sure it would roughly match the numbers of the poll. Can't really expect Petrov to publicize a list of 1250 IP addresses, anyway... Life is tough... but it is tougher if you're stupid.

" For or against SFL? How many people didnt even vote though? I know i didnt and i dont think another perma league is what POE needs. |

" Are you asking for the data he updated in the OP? 'Cause that would mean you were just posting for the sake of trying to make a random nitpick argument against SFL without actually bothering to read? How are we supposed to make everyone vote? Not even if it was an official poll published by GGG themselves would they be able to garner votes of the majority of players playing the game. The population percentage actually active on the forums is really small to start with. The purpose of this poll is simply to show more or less solid proof there is a large interest in some form of SFL, nothing else. Life is tough... but it is tougher if you're stupid. " Well GGG could theoretically have every active player vote ...... by disabling their account until said vote form has been completed by account/IP. =P |

" Survey Monkey doesn't let the same IP vote twice. Try it. That being said, if you want to vote from different devices/IPs, you probably can. Tin foil hat time? If you have a better idea, go ahead and do it. P. EDIT: What I should see is if I can see how many votes that have voted against the SFL have originated from - say - China.
