Changing the skill tree would involve changing the game for everyone. Making a self found league does not. Your example simply does not make sense.

I literally don't think thats possible, but even if it was possible its still not at all the same thing as a SFL. A SFL really doesn't change the gameplay AT ALL. Everything is the same besides the drop rates, thats obviously a lot different than messing with the skill tree.

I don't think that would stand any chance of happening but you know what? Feel free to ask for it. If the devs did make it then it wouldn't effect me AT ALL.

So you wouldn't feel mad that people playing in RTL (reduced tree league) get to put points into possibly all the keystone?

What about the people that like this game but hate theorycrafting. They are presented with a hard decision every time they level they hate this.

So they want to be able to choose specs when making their class.

Specs are what's popular base on database of players for that class. When you click on the spec you are also suggested with uniques and gems to obtain. Once accepting this spec all other nodes not in the spec will not be visible and a light path will light up in order of which nodes to invest points into first. but wait there is more you can also log into facebook to find out which specs are popular base on facebook friends.

What if a number of people want that and by number I mean the minority want that. Don't you feel that that's taking away from you because GGG budget is spending money on useless features that are not needed. I know I would. I'd be like if you don't want theorycraft and just aRPG go to Diablo tree(yes tree, the way Athenes says it).

Me as a paying fund donating player does not want development budget to be wasted on such features such as SFL.

Yes exactly my point I know some of you SFL'ers are saying that you will PAY RMT for a SFL so basically you are funding GGG or assisting GGG with funding in order to recode the game for a SFL. SFL is fine I do not have a problem with that but SFL with increase drop rates is against GGG business model. There is no paying to win in this game and by paying SFL with increase drop rates you are essentially P2W. Which is a no.

and of course you as a funding player would like SFL because you like SFL but if you felt like you are funding a useless feature like Facebook integration. Would you be ok with that?

I do not know if you saw what I post in earlier pages but SFL cannot
- Take budget away from other features or future development
- Have increase drop rates
- Have party mode
- Party mode is not self found its other people find even if its perma allocation
- Party mode can essentially lead to people stacking IIQ/IIR and selling their service for RMT which is stated in the OP title that RMT is not wanted

B will be abused in X way, therefore B should not exist.

First of all you can't prove exactly how much time and money it would take GGG to put in the league.

If there's enough players supporting the idea then its not a waste of time or money because its what the players are asking for. Look at the hardcore league, its super small but its still there. It would be pretty rude for someone to ask that they get rid of it because its small and THEY don't want money and time wasted on it.

Also basically every SFL proponent that I have seen has said that they would PAY to make this league happen. That means that it can fund itself to some degree. You disliking the league because of some unneeded jealousy is NOT reason to keep it from happening.
