" How many hours have you even put into this game? Perhaps you haven't been around long enough. " Not to be antagonistic at all, in all seriousness I do not respect that opinion because it makes no sense. There is no reason whatsoever for you to think that is unfair. You can play and enjoy both leagues yourself. There is no reason to be bothered by something another league does. For example it doesn't bother me at all that ambush has better drops than standard. I am freely choosing NOT to play there because I like standard. That is my choice, it would make no sense for me to complain about it. Whats interesting is that I do not think your complaint would be legitimate EVEN IF a SFL was easier than the other leagues but anyone who really thinks about it would realize that a SFL would not at all be easier than the trading leagues. Its much harder to depend on RNG than to trade, that is common sense. " This is irrelevant to the topic. The point people are bringing up in this thread is that trading is actually better than playing the game. There is plenty of evidence for this in many threads. " Improving trading might make trading less frustrating but it wouldn't fix the reasons that this thread exists. Making trading easier will make trading even more OP and playing the game even less worth it. Why should I spend two hours grinding maps to make less than an exalt worth of currency when I can flip uniques and make many exalts in two hours?? Its unfair because I should not have to feel pigeonholed into playing SFL since that's where the good drops are

" Which makes no sense because you can get better stuff faster by trading, there is no reason to feel pigeonholed into playing something that would be MORE difficult. Standard Forever

" The funny thing is, it WAS a beta, the drops were akin to a BiS vendor in a PTR, for a reason. Casually casual.

" Do you speak French, Portuguese and Spanish because sometimes I will have to deal with them guys by using Google translate to speak with them. Do you know how frustrating it is to communicate with people when there is a language barrier. I think its fair that you ask for SFL but I think its unfair to have increased drop rates. What if I want a mode where I do not use weapons, this would include shields, and to compensate I get 4 ring slots and 2 necklace slots (2chainz). Would you feel that is unfair? Do you even think its sort of stupid for me to ask of something like that? GGG has to make it a fair competition. SFL cannot have increased drop rates if it does every league needs to get it. And if every league has increased drop rates there is no need for SFL you can just play the one we have and no ever trade. Last edited by radmanvr#3083 on Apr 22, 2014, 6:38:32 PM

" Removing trading is like your example here where you change how your weapon slots work. Also, for what reason would you even ask for your example above? There are lots of players over many months that have been asking for a self found league and for good reasons. This game was made from the beginning to accommodate different leagues. A self found league is NOT some kind of crazy idea. " Your right it doesn't make sense. Its also nothing like a self found league. " A self found league would not be unfair. I don't know why your accusing it of being unfair. " Definitely not. The trading leagues are balanced FOR TRADING. Thats the ENTIRE POINT. " GGG will never increase the drop rates enough to make this issue go away. They love the economy. The game is balanced with trading in mind and it will always be that way. Another separate league will not harm the trading leagues at all. Standard Forever

" Fair competition can only exist in skill based games, not RNG based games. Personally, I'm fine with your odd league idea. I have no desire to play in it, but I certainly wouldn't think to ask you not to petition for it. No. Calm down. Learn to enjoy losing.

Your argument is time management. You feel pigeonholed into using trading and feel like that takes away from the core of the game.
Core game = Kill things to get items(that's your idea of the core) my idea includes trading but trading should not be the be all end all part of the game its a side game within the game that has its own set of challenges and time sink. You feel that these so called time sinks take away your time of kill monsters. Do you want to know what I feel like is a big time sink that is taking me away from killing monsters? I have deleted over 30 characters level 50+ because I have made a build that is not strong and I can see that I am having issues in A3C and A1M. I constantly set on skill tree page and theorycraft different builds along with poe wiki to look at different skill gems and unique. I do this more than I kill monsters for items. I am constantly looking at ways to improve my character. The amount of skill points on the spider web is obnoxiously insane. There are multiple routes to go and man different skill gem combinations. I am doing that now as we speak on poe builder building my next character to try. I am not the only one that feels this way there are others Do you suggest we petition for a league where maybe 50% of the skill points in the skill tree were removed and in order compensate the ones that are left should be increase by 100% effectiveness. Example would be 30 Life is now 60 Life, 5% Attack speed is now 10% attack speed. I want to play aRPG, kill stuff get items but instead I play spider web skill tree theorycraft. So what do? |

" yeah they later told it was for testing upper bound then there was testing for lower bound to see when people start complaining Kripp is lousy example because he was on the verge of quitting anyway We can watch Alkaizer. | |
" Changing the skill tree would involve changing the game for everyone. Making a self found league does not. Your example simply does not make sense. Standard Forever
