Hardcore League: Templar GOD Build

For starters aim for the items which have nice amount of links between sockets. When you can afford (you have fancy orbs with what you can toy with your armour pieces) / start grinding try to get stats like: Strenght, HP, Life Leech, Attack Speed, Physical Damage increase, Armour, Resistances. They'll help alot.

I use Gold Rings and Gold Necklace to boost up my chances to stumble upon a nice loot. For bossfights I take in consideration my level and survivability, wether equip resistance rings or keep the greedy rings.

Have a question: Blood drinker passive leeches only physical damage, and Lightning Strike doing mostly lightning damage on hit an only lightning whit projectiles. Won't it will be better to use sweep for more life leech?

I made a God Build EB aura Templar version lemme know what u all think.
This is exactly how I was wanting to build a Templar. I have a few questions about gems though...

1. I see you recommend life leech on lightning strike, but a few others seem to recommend life on hit instead. I'm wondering if one is considered superior to the other, or is life leech more an end-game gem when your damage gets higher and LoH more for leveling early and mid game?
2. I have never had a blood magic character. Is it OK to just level up all our gems or do you have to be more careful with blood magic? Especially gems like walord's mark and wrath, wondering if they should be leveled at all?
3. A lot of other lightning strike builds out there seem to recommend lesser multiple projectiles and pierce over fork. Wondering why fork is recommended in this build over the others?

Awesome guide Freshbrewed, short and to the point.

Lightning Strike does actually awful lot of damage because physical damage done by lightnint strike is also converted by 50% into Lightning. It is worthy node to invest point on because you'll end up leeching alot of life in the endgame.

Actually Life on Hit is alot better in the beginning and in the middle game. Endgame requires Life Leech gem. I'm using Life on Hit gem right now.I'll update my post a little bit if it confuses :)

Yep it's ok as long as your stat requirements are sufficient, such as Intelligence or Strenght. You'll regen your life pretty fast back.

Lesser multiple projectile will do fine. I just didn't include EVERY single skill option in the guide. Will update this also not to make mass confuse x)

Cheers and thanks! :)
